Exercise

Body:

Hi

I haven't visited in a while but felt I needed to share what I have learnt and continue to learn.

I had been exercising with some regularity over several weeks and noticed that my uterus stayed in place although I did not realize the connection with the exercise. My period came and I expected the usual descent but it did not happen. I was especially surprised because I had an unusually heavy period. I stopped exercising during my period and did not restart when it ended. Slowly but surely my uterus descended. In a way, this was a sort of experiment, as I was trying to pinpoint what exactly was working for me.

I began exercising again and in about one week, my uterus had ascended. (I was really pleased when I sneezed this morning and I felt no movement.)

My exercise routine includes walking, swimming, the exercises recommended by Christine (leg lifts etc.) and some yoga. There is a particular yoga position called a paschimotanassana (seated forward bend) that I think may be especially good for pulling the uterus up (just a hunch).

Hope someone finds this useful.

Dear Girl,

BIG HUGS and I've so been waiting to hear how you're doing, since we're so on the same wave length!

You are RIGHT, RIGHT, RIGHT!

I have a new program for you that will move things strongly, gently, and systematically. It's SO VERY TRUE that our bodies have what they need to heal from this. What I did was push our design just beyond how we commonly use it day-to-day to move things back in place. Constant use of the posture then keeps them that way. These are movements that men cannot do because of the (compared to ours) inflexibility of their sacrum and I suppose that is why such a thing never occured to them.

Lots of Love,

Christine

Hi Christine

Much love to you too!

I've really been waiting for something BIG (that I KNOW is going) to happen to come to the forum and share my joy :D .

But yes, I am pleased with my progress and join everyone else in thanking you for the groundbreaking work that you did and continue to do. I'm sure at times it's difficult and perhaps frustrating but BE ENCOURAGED!!

(BTW, I came on early this morning and just posted. It was only later I saw that there was already a discussion on exercise. Sorry!)
