When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

RE: Pessary
Dear Dee,
We've been given terrible advice and worse treatments. I'm unraveling the mystery as I see fit and am writing it to the world just as quickly and thoroughly as I can. Each woman must make up her own mind, however, and do what she thinks is best. I am grateful for every woman who joins us and is committed to getting to the truth about prolapse.
Thank you, Dee
Christine

RE: Pessary
I've just found this forum. I just got a pessary today. It feels a little uncomfortable. However, I have found it interesting that now my Kegels are strong enough to immediately stop urine flow, whereas before, it took a while.
Its too soon for me to tell if it will bother me or not. I was wondering how long you've had yours? Also, my doctor told me I might need a larger size, but that they didnt have any in the office today.
So you think its better to take it out & perhaps only wear it occasionally?

RE: Pessary
Hi Liz,
If you're seeing an improvement in your symptoms while wearing the pessary, great! I would certainly take it out each night and let your tissues breathe.
There are issues beyond alleviation of symptoms, however, and these are what we at WW are exploring. Just understand that it is ultimately your spine that is holding up your organs, and healthy maintenance of the spine is most important.

RE: Pessary
Hey Lisa - I just joined the forum today and noticed you got your pessary in Sept. I was wondering how it was going 'cause I just got mine today. After 5 hours I have a slight pink discharge. I wasn't told in the office to expect a discharge, so I called my doctor (a man) and was told the discharge was ok. I should only experience it for a few days, hopefully. thanks, Barbara

RE: Pessary
Wow! I was given a prescrip for a pessary, but couldn't find one, so never got to use one, and then became pregnant. But, wow, my dr. said to wear it sparingly, like when I'm exercising, or going out for a long time, but to take it out every single night.
May I ask, how did you actually get the pessary? I am going to try and get another prescrip, but I'd like to actually be able to get it this time.
