When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

baby carriers
I recommend lots of different carriers for different tasks. here's what I have:
2 ring slings, one for general use (its a maya wrap) and one is silk dupioni for when I have to be all dressed up. a ring sling is good for quick trips in and out of the car. its easy to put on and leave on under my coat and I can comfortably wear it when I drive. easy to put the baby in and out. the drawback is that the baby gets heavy after about 20 min and since the weight is unevenly distributed, its not great for posture. also, I cannot comfortably wear the baby on my back in a sling so he's kinda in the way if I'm going to need my hands (ie: filling out forms at the post office)
a woven wrap: I love this one, its so versatile. the learning curve is steep, but worthwhile. its like the moby only woven so there's much less give. baby is better supported and weight distribution is better too. I like this for pre-tying and then popping baby in/out for longer errands (ie grocery shopping). I can also get baby on my back in the wrap, I mostly use it at home for things like washing dishes/floors/serving dinner to the older ones when baby's cranky. he usually falls asleep pretty quickly when he's in the wrap on my back.
meitai: right now my most useful carrier. down side is you can't pretie. so I attract quite a crowd in the supermarket or mall when tying baby onto my back, but I love wearing him on my back while I shop. he's thrilled to be up there and I not only have my hands free but I don't have to reach around him. also I find its pretty easy to stay in posture with him high on my back. and I love slobbery kisses on my neck : )
have fun shopping!

I have many
I have many slings/carriers...maybe too many (blush). I just bought a gypsy mamma stretch wrap. I find that it is still soft and a bit stretchy (ala Moby) but it holds its shape better, sinks less, and is SO pretty. I have a hard time dealing with all of the fabric involved with a woven wrap...much less the cost of buying the ones I like. I wore my 5 mo old for hours yesterday with no fatigue, my lower back didn't hurt, no prolapse issues...and I didn't wake up last night with groin pain (very common for me after hauling kids around all day).

Thanks ladies. I looked up
Thanks ladies. I looked up the ones you suggested and I think I like the meitai but now here is the question, which one do I get? There are so many brands and kinds. Are there ones that are better?

meitai's
mine is a sachi(sp?). I chose it because I liked the way it looked and the fabric options, and because it seems to have a good resale value. I did my research on www.thebabywearer.com
it does get overwhelming with so many options, it took me a long time to figure out which one to buy. I'm also in the process of making one, a 'scandi' knockoff, the scandinavian ones seem to be the fav's but they are too expensive for me.
have fun shopping :)
