When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

good music always lifts my spirits. and its all connected for me, lifted spirits = lifted prolapse (or at least it feels that way, which is good enough)

My immediate thought was that I always find background music uplifting, so I clicked on Reply and found that Granolamom had just said that. Hmm, says something about both of us.
However, in a prolapse sense, I love listening to dancing music (ie electronic, latin, jive/rock, waltzes, foxtrots, quicksteps etc. Quite a combination, eh?) I think that is because it focuses my spare brain capacity on strong rhythms and body movement while I am moving around. You can fit in a lot of dance steps between the kitchen and the washing line! When I am aware of how I am moving in space it is easy to work on posture and be aware of how my body is arranged. Dance is also great for exercising all those muscles and nerve pathways that keep the pelvis stable.
When I am working at something that needs concentration and calm I like listening to JS Bach & Hayden, very formal, melodic, hormonious music with good energy that does not tempt me to get up and dance, but keeps my mind disciplined and in order, or fits in with being in 'the zone'. I have the short term memory of a mosquito and am very distractible, so anything that will keep the spare bits of my brain from going feral is a bonus, whatever I am doing.
Cheers
Louise

Yes , and after 9/11...
I couldn't listen to anything but classical for some time.
I am a big fan of a genome music station called "Pandora.com"
Where you can start stations and create their direction by voting
thumbs up or down -or no vote. I have about 100 stations, and
they have recently added classical. I have seen a marvelous classical
website - as well.
I agree that music is good for the soul. Making music with friends
has been one of my recent discoveries, getting over my shyness at making
"bad sounds" has been a challenge. I struggle with my inhibitions here.
But it's a good to challenge our inhibitions. No ?

My POP is singin' the lowdown Blues.
We should start a separate rant, rave and meltdown thread ?
I've been working long days on my feet finishing all the
furniture my DH has been building. It's been taking a toll.
Concrete floors and lots of elbow grease.
I Was up late to finish a piece he had to deliver this morning.
Then this miserable little Indian man from the Mortgage company
woke me up up this morning to remind me that I am in debt.
He woke me up from a fabulous dream where I was moving
away from this little town I didn't like living in. I had put
everything I owned on my motorcycle and was joyfully toolin'
down this winding canyon road singing the pickle song at the
top of my lungs
" I don't wanna pickle - I just wanna ride my motor- sickel !"
I was seein' red for a good hour. Veins in my teeth, I wanted to
Kill, maim and dismember and vault curses across the ocean ! At
him and the offspring of his offspring. But it's futile, like dealing with the Borg.
I guess there's all these miserable people in India that do this type
of call, but because of the time difference they must work at night
and have no social life. Apparently there is so much of this out-sourcing
going on, that depression rates are becoming a problem there . HaH !
What goes around comes around, Baby ! Robbing me of my sleep and
time doesn't increase my productivity either. I'm seriously thinking about
disconnecting my phone.
Work is good and the money will keep the wolves away ! I sure am
tired though, deep down. tired and hopeful we'll get on top of this nightmare.
I wish my body wouldn't fail me so. I've got to go sew now. I'm thinking it's
a good day for Pink Floyd's " The Wall".

You go girl!
:o)
Let it all out. I get seriously peed off when I get calls from these Indian call centres - usually my credit card company trying to sell me something. If I wanted it I would ask! grrr
I have been on my feet ALOT lately rushing around doing one thing or another and it really seems to be upsetting my rectocele. My bottom feels so darn heavy and I don't know what to do about it. Damn rectocele!
What kind of furniture do you make?
