When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

I love to hear this stuff- I am seriously considering pregnancy and am truly fearful-
I plan to spend 2 weeks in bed after my next birth. Maybe you could rest more?????

rest is important
You are absolutely right about rest. I have been very blessed that my husband has taken up the housework. It is actually quite surprising. I have just sat back and watched the house get messed up and then watched him pick it up. :0) I am not lifting anything any heavier than the baby until 6 months ppd. Which means hubby will be doing laundry thru at least june.
During my pregnancy, I bought a roomba robotic vacuum cleaner-- it's my best friend right now. The one I have came with a remote and so I sit in the chair and spot clean with it--just like a remote control car!!! If only it could hang up the laundry... :)
My two older daughters are in school during the day and my sister is continuing our routine of taking my 3 year old son to her house. This way I only have my needs & baby's needs to take care of. I nurse on demand so she's a pretty content baby right now. I spend a lot of time nursing while lying on my side on the couch or in bed. And a LOT of time cuddling my all the more. The exercises I am doing are isolation exercises, so there is no movement and they are done from a lying position. My midwives insist on rest and no house work for 10 days after birth (though they did say roomba didn't count :) ).
Nutrition is also vitally important to the healing process. I am eating a cereal every day with 10 grams of fiber, 2 slices of ezekiel bread for another 6 grams, a handful of nuts, 2 fruits and 1 raw veggie; supper is dicey since we are feeding 5 distant taste palates, so my husband has been getting carryout-- not the healthiest, but since I am making sure my two morning meals are full of healthy food, I concentrate on getting protein at supper. I am taking my calcium and magnesium to help support the ligaments as well as my prenatal vitamin and vitamin C. I also am making sure I get enough to drink, which isn't hard considering everytime my baby latches on and I hear her swallowing, I get insatiably thirsty. :)

Fullofgrace, I can picture you there cuddling with your sweet baby. I am glad you are taking care of yourself. And it is wonderful that your husband is helping out. My daughter has a roomba, she loves it! Kit
