When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

Hang in there,
Sorry honey, Like you don't have enough going on....
I had cryology - freezing the cells on the cervix 12 yrs. ago.
Worst case - if you need that ? Not that bad of a procedure
and very effective. My paps have been fine ever since.
Good luck and keep us posted.

Abnormal cells
Hi Sue
I had that after having my babies. It started off as 'cervical erosion', which seems to be another way of saying "Your cervix hasn't gone back to normal quick enough after having babies." I had to have more frequent smears for a few years, then the abnormal cells all went away by themselves and have never returned. No freezing necessary. I went back to 12 monthly smears and just keep that up. Never had another problem.
Just remember that doctors use secret words with more than two syllables as a way of describing simple things, often (but not this time) another way of describing the symptoms we have just told them we have. Then we go "Oooo! That sounds scary!" but it is really only another word.
For heavens sake (not impatient with you, just stating the bleeding obvious), we go to see them knowing there is a problem or for routine screening to look for problems Why then, do we get so scared when we hear a big word? It is because we don't understand and haven't been given all the information, and it means more prodding, poking and having things done to our bodies with sharp pointy sticks! NO WONDER WE SAY "OOOOO, THAT SOUNDS SCARY."
Feel the fear and do it anyway. Hope all goes well. Keep breathing. At least you are onto it and can get on and deal with it, as unpleasant as it might seem. Better than not having smears and having a gyno tell you a few years later that you will die if s/he doesn't remove your uterus!! Aren't I the cheerful one. (((Sue)))
Cheers

I know
I am just real scared cos of the word severe I think.
I had mild dyskaryosis - Then the next smear was clear - I was really expecting this one to be clear - Then it comes back as severe.
I am real scared and praying that all my worries will be unfounded
One of the reasons is that lady who came in here and had a routine op in Uk remember her - Think she had her episiotomy restitched.
She went under the anaesthetic - And woke up with THE WORKS prolapse surgery wise
I may have it written on me if I go under any surgery down there to NOT touch my prolapses - They are my friends (lol - ok not really but you know what i mean) And DO NOT TOUCH THEM
Man... I am a mess.

I have had scares last year,
I have had scares last year, first my breasts and prolapse they sent me fr a mammo and thank God it was ok. In the UK they are really quick with womens type of things so don't worry MeMyselfAndI I know it's hard not to but believe me prayer to God helps. Sometimes we don't even know when help has been there.Godbless you i'm sure everything will be just fine
One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along
the beach with the Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed
two sets of footprints in the sand,
one beloning to him and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the
very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life there is
only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you most
you would leave me."
The Lord replied "My precious, precious child,
I love you and would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffereing,
when you see only one set of footprints in the sand,
it was then that I carried you."

anesthetics
HI Sue,
I just wanted to reassure you that if one of your fears is a general anesthetic, YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE ONE for a biopsy or for lasering cells. I don't know if they do it under an anesthetic under the UK (they seem to do lots of things under a general there!) but in the US it's done in your doctors' office with no anesthetic.
i agree about not wanting to be asleep whilst anyone goes near the prolapses--i was thinking a tatoo might be good saying "leave my prolapses alone!". but for a simple biopsy and also for dealing with the cells you don't need to be asleep. it may not feel great, but it's completely doable.

They said something about a crescent shaped 'bad bit' at 9 oclock
He said my prolapse 'isnt impressive' lol - Well he took a bit of my cervix away so i guess that's less to hang down?
I am wondering if this was the weird feeling I have had to the left since November? - He said it was at 9 oclock - Hmmmmmm
Overall I survived - they were about to take me in to operate on this thing cos of my disability but I got through it so I am ok
Hafta go back and check again in a few months - and they will write to me and tell me what the bit they took shows under the microscope or whatever...
Thanks for caring

Thanks peeps...
Just wondering what the lab results will be now - To tell me what happens next etc...
No checkerama allowed - Now that is something to get used to (It would cause infection etc)
Just taking it easy now - To get over yesterdays exploits...
Praying that the lab results will be good and no more 'intervention' or anything will be needed...
I am wondering if my prolapse was not anything 'special' to him cos...
A - He was looking at my cervix and not my bladder which is my worst prolapse...
B - When he says cough - I tend to do a mere 'coughette' never a real one - lolllllll - Dunno why - Maybe I don't wanna be told its baddddddddddd or anything - Maybe I don't want THEM to know...
Hmmmmm

Love it!
Sue,
I love your typos, your imagination and your wit!
Two of my daughters had what you had and neither of them had any more trouble.
"I don't want them to know." Exactly. I think a lot of doctors think we want to "do" something about our problems. Quite frankly, I don't. When you are passive about "fixing" stuff, they think you, the patient, are dumb. So you lose either way. I went for my annual, and I didn't say a word, and she didn't say a word, and I went away with my prolapses, and she ( the doctor) went away with her pregnancy, and we're square!
I don't need help with what "ain't" broken, so don't try to break it so it needs fixing. That's my policy. I believe the term is "benign neglect."
Well now that I've practiced my quotation marks, I'll close.
Pax and thankfully today is not Monday! Hope you can put the ordeal behind you and move on to healthy, healthy, happy, happy.

Secrets - hehe
What typos? :-O - lol
As you say they always wanna fiddle with things they 'deem' broken. - I don't wanna be fiddled with!
I hope I don't have more trouble. I am a complete Dr aversist (If thats a word lol - I am averse to going to them unless I am forced to - Which I am alot - Which I hate lol)
They say on the paperwork you will bleed for up to three weeks - I am not bleeding at all so I call them up at 6.30am and ask if this is 'normal' - She tells me just take it easy for 1-2 weeks and all will be ok, I am 'normal' (Hey thats a first - Me - Normal - Woooo)
My treadmill is now a clothes hanger - I figured if I can't see it - It won't call to me? - lollllll
Funny though - Now the major worries I have had of the past few months are past, in the main anyways - I have slept like a log for the past two nights - Not like me at all lol - Even the pain in my leg didn't wake me up last night - Freaky!
I will hope the lab results come in well and this will be over or 'he' will be moaning about me using all his holiday days on me again (2nd year in a row lol) Hey - He knew something was wrong with me when we met - So he only has himself to blame right? Taking on an abnormal maladyfest of a wreck of a human. All his fault - lolllll
His reply to the above was - ''well perhaps but not with all the other maladies which have been queueing up''
Still his fault I say - lolol
He says the cost has been well worth it - As we have our daughter :-D
I feel a little bit 'draggyish' today. Dunno whether that is the prolapse or whether it's the fact they have messed around with me... Can't do checkerama (Risk of infection etc) - So hafta tell myself it is cos they were a messin... Just freels kinda heavyish or whatever...
Have a great day everyone :-)

He said he thinks the took a bit of my cervix about an inch long :-O... But isn't 100% sure as he was at the head end lol

.. make a difference. I switched to decaf when I was pregnant and found it tastes exactly the same so I always buy decaf tea now. I am assuming it is the caffine in tea that makes it a diuretic? DON'T let your son have a computer in his room ! Yikes, I just saw this and had to put
my little opinion out there ! Do you KNOW how broody and weird teen-agers get ? You'll never see
him again !!! That's right around the corner... Keep control of the computer at all times !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
keep it in the center of family space. There is a compulsivity issue these kids are dealing with
and it makes them all the more vulnerable to these chat rooms and all the disturbing fallout that
is associated with this instant connection, but lacking the maturity to handle it well, and be kind.
I just saw such a disturbing program here on PBS about Kids and computers, and it only reinforced my
own experiences with my kids (16 &12) and suspicions I have. My Apple has such a great security
system with passwords and such that my kids have to go through me to get on. And house rule is
they don't have access if I'm not around. I sound like a control freak poss., but you continually lose ground
as kids get older so by all means don't GIVE it away !! AAAah !
Sincerely !,
