When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

OmG! Computer in kids bedroom!
Yes, Zelda, you are absolutely right. I saw this comment about giving this boy his own computer in his room and had the same horrifying thoughts. At least you took the time to air your concerns, which I did not at the time. Thankyou, and sorry I didn't at the time. And I can't even remember whose post it was! Sue?
I really think kids need to be at least 18 (legal adulthood in Australia) before they have private access to a computer. It is easy enough for really grown up people to get themselves into strife in cyberspace, let alone kids. If you wouldn't let them travel unaccompanied on an overseas trip of their own planning without your own input, then don't let them into cyberspace without your own input.
Call me an antrustworthy old fart if you like. It is not a matter of trusting your own kid. It is a matter of not trusting invisible people who can just walk into the life of your precious child, like leaving the front door unlocked at night with a neon sign outside saying, "Innocent kid for your enjoyment this way. Come on in!!"
The first lesson they need to learn about being independent with their communication, is "Spot the dickhead". And in cyberspace that is very, very difficult. Once they can spot dickheads in real life they can venture into cyberspace using that animal cunning they learn when out driving on the roads, going to Uni or workplace and socialising on their own.
In our family there are only a few rules.
1 Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
2 Say please and thankyou.
3 Wear your safety helmet or seatbelt.
4 Be honest.
5 Learn to reliably spot dickheads so you can get Mum and dad off your back and get a life of your own.
That's about it.
Cheers

My sons are men not boys
My son is 18 and my other son is 19 - Not little kids. So please do not assume I am a fool - Cos I kept them OFF the internet as long as I possibly could!
I did not give them internet access in their rooms - They were very intelligent and realised their mobile phones could also be modems.
Luckily my elder son only chats to his friends on MSN and my younger son does his course work and chats to his mate up the roadon MSN
I am no fool - But they are adults. Here they can marry and do what they like at their age.
Luckily they are not like 'normal' teens - They are very much up on the world cos I have made sure they are - This is why I am glad my kids are mine cos most kids I see around here I dislike as they do not hold the values mine do.

Proof of what can happen if a wife or girlfriend drags her husband or boyfriend along shopping
This letter was recently sent by Store's Head Office to a customer:
Dear Mrs. M,
While we thank you for your valued custom and use of the Store Loyalty Card, the Manager of our store in Banbury is considering banning you and your family from shopping with us, unless your husband stops his antics. Below is a list of offences over the past few months all verified by our surveillance cameras:
1. June 15: Took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in people's trolleys when they weren't looking.
2. July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5 minute intervals.
3. July 7: Made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to feminine products aisle.
4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official tone, 'Code 3' in housewares..... and watched what happened.
5. August 14: Moved a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area.
6. September 15: Set up a tent in the outdoor clothing department and told shoppers he'd invite them in if they would bring sausages and a Calor gas stove.
7. September 23: When the Deputy Manager asked if she could help him, he began to cry and asked, 'Why can't you people just leave me alone?'
8. October 4: Looked right into the security camera; used it as a
mirror, picked his nose, and ate it.
9. November 10: While appearing to be choosing kitchen knives in the Housewares aisle asked an assistant if he knew where the antidepressants were.
10. December 3: Darted around the store suspiciously, loudly humming the Mission Impossible' theme.
11. December 6: In the kitchenware aisle, practised the 'Madonna look' using different size funnels.
12. December 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when people browsed, yelled 'PICK ME!' 'PICK ME!'
13. December 21: When an announcement came over the loud speaker, assumed the foetal position and screamed 'NO! NO! It's those voices again.'
And; last, but not least:
14. December 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door, waited a while; then yelled, very loudly, 'There is no toilet paper in here.'
Yours sincerely,
Charles Brown

It was me!
I was the one that said my son asked for a computer but that did not mean internet access. Just a computer with the basics and he has some learning games that he likes to play. Kids these days are very heavily into computer games but they do make some now that are not only fun but teach them along the way. I would not even consider giving him internet access at his young age, no way! The only thing he looks at on the internet is the CBeebies website which is children's television and I am around when he does.
I think that got misinterpreted.

Guess I got carried away with my computer angst. Best of intentions 'n all.
It's entirely common for average people to let kids have free computer
access. Clearly we are all saavy and wise women around here, Far from average.
O.K. - That letter is absolutely the funniest thing in a long while.
I'm in tears. I had a guy-freind in HS that was cut from the same cloth.

that letter is so funny! my dh is like that, only he keeps it more appropriate (wouldn't hide in the clothes or act like the dressing rooms a toilet!), when we were engaged and shopping for housewares, he DID set all the timers to go off at 60 sec intervals. I don't think he'd do that now, he's grown up a bit, but he's still the serious guy who does silly things from time to time. I think that's how he stays young, and it keeps me from taking life too seriously too.

My H is a very serious man. Even more so these days.
In fact I'm worried about him. There is such deep fatigue in his face.
I have to find a way to help him. i guess the best thing I can do is
keep myself strong. or rob a bank.

don't go robbing any banks though. I don't think you can walk in the posture when wearing shackles.

your money or your life
this is a book I would recommend. It has some really interesing insights like....that owning a home is an expense not an investment. I have no idea what the market is like in your area- or if it would be better to rent- but as a former renter it is awesome. Homes in my neighborhood rent for as much as a morgage- except you don't have to pay property taxes or upkeep- which is wonderful. basically the idea is that the money you would spend on those things you instead invest and end up with cash....which is better than handing down a house (that has to then be ready for sale and profit split etc....
I guess I just hear you disparing your financial situation and all I can think is that if that problem wasn't there then you wouldn't be so down.....

Hope its not a bug
I do hope its not a bug but the stomach ache you described sounds just like irritable bowel. I get that, the pains stop me in my tracks and I can feel my insides spasaming like contractions and then URGENT need for the loo for a complete clear out!
I haven't suffered from them since this prolapse which is strange as I have had it for years.

Hi Sue
I just love your ramblings and the ypto bug thingy.
Funny things bodies. It is is not an alien virus brought home by a school goer, it is the gradual change in body of perimenopause overlaid with the normal monthly variations, and the normal inherent tendency towards black clouds at times of great stress. Hey, who cares in the end. If you feel like shit, you feel like shit. Just get better, eh?
Cheers

ps, there were more than two chuckles in our house over the man in the shop. I hate shopping. Next time I am asked to go along with DH to choose what colour jocks he should buy I will have some alternative activities in which to indulge. Then it will be the PA system calling, "Would the husband or children of the middle aged lady wearing horn-rimmed glasses and a wedding ring and very little else, who won't tell us what her name is, please come to the checkout, NOW!"

OMG - Heavy??????
Suddenly losing blood. Not period red - BLOOD red (lol)
Phoned the hospital and she said - That i would have had a scab incide that would be coming off? (None of this was said in the paperwork)
She said don't worry unless it gets worse or floods or something :-O
Paperwork said...
you can expect a brown discharge (I have none) with some fresh bleeding on most days for up to 3 weeks (OK this is fresh bleeding) The bleeding should not be heavy. (Well it got my attention!)
Grief - What next?
Just hoping its gonna go way as it says on most days and I had none for over a week - Maybe its catching up?
I don't feel bad in any way. Except feeling I need to pee alot - Especially yesterday...
Says if the bleeding is heavy or you are concerned ring hospital - Which I did... What do I consider heavy though?

Didn't see you post until this morning. How are things now?
Keep an eye on things (I am sure you are) and make a note of how often you have to change a pad as that will give the hospital some indication of things if you need to call them again.
Hoping things have settled down now.

OMG - heavy???
Hi Sue
Hope it has slowed down a bit. Where are you in your cycle? Might not be a period but they probably cauterised it or something. If your cervix is getting bigger for ovulation it will stretch the scab, and further action in the uterus/cervix will cause more blood flow as your body builds new cells in preparation for a pregnancy (yeeps!). Think about what your body is trying to do at a time when a surgeon has just cut a lump out of your cervix.
Maybe you just been watching too much porn (whoops...)
Take care
Louise
