When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

leaking and biking
Hi Stella
I can't relate to riding a bike for 30 miles for fun. Nevertheless, good on ya girl! Apart from the leakage I bet it was a good ride.
Some time ago there was a lot of discussion about 'bikes' and 'cycling'. I suggest you Search the Forums for them (and 'bicycle' etc). There was a lot said about posture and types of bike seats, and adjustment of bike seats. I cannot remember who the Members were, but if you find their posts, they may still have personal email enabled, even if they are not currently active on the Forums. Drag 'em back!
Good luck.

biking and leaking
Stella…if you can think about this for what it is – simply a change in the angle of your urethra – you might be able to adjust your posture on the bike to improve the leaking. The angle where your urethra connects to your bladder base (usually a very sharp right angle) has straightened with your positioning and probably the pressure of the bike seat so that urine flows out like an open faucet. Pessaries have the same effect for some women by pushing the prolapsed bladder, which has been effectively kinking the urethra by sitting back on it, forward so the angle is more open. Perhaps a wide seat that tilts slightly downward in front and a seat/handlebar arrangement that allows for the stomach to be relaxed and the lumbar curve extended would improve the situation. You should be able to lean forward into an acute angle and keep the important aspects of the posture.

thank you Christine!
I will try to wrap my mind around that. I am having a little trouble understanding it conceptually but it's probably because I've had a long day!
