relieved to have found you all......

Body:

greetings,
i stumbled across your forum while i was doing some research on prolapses and am so glad i found you too. i just turned 34, have 2 girls 7 and 12, and at 32 had a miscarriage going into my 2nd trimester. it was going to be my last pregnancy. the doctor gave no real explanation as to the reason for the miscarriage, just one of those body's decision things. my previous two pregnancies were normal-vaginal deliveries with no complications. he naturally did a d&C and wanted to know if that may have contributed to my now prolapse uterus. since then, i started feeling a hard bulge right into the entrance of my vagina and went back to the obgyn for tests and constant pain on my right ovary. he diagnosed a cyst on the ovary and said that yes, i had a prolapse uterus but gave no explanation as to "how" it happened-other than it being normal with previous deliveries in the past. he said i could still get pregnant only that it would be a little harder due to the prolapse. now, i'm just afraid of experiencing another miscarriage. i'm due for another sono for the cyst since i had to wait 3 months to see if it has grown, changed or popped on its own-which i'm hoping. is there a link between all these things i've experienced? the prolapse in itself is tolerable-some days better than others i guess. i have some swelling on and around my menstral with yes, the agonizing pelvic bone pain i've read about. it's the cyst that has me concerned most of all and now my younger sister is experiencing the same symptoms.

i've been looking for the "posture" on your forum to no avail-can someone please explain its contents
thank you and i look forward to hearing from you all

welcome to whole woman.
there is a search engine built into the site. If you look at the FaQs on the homepage you will see a picture of the posture or if you type goatgirl in the search you will see another photo.
I imagine many things are contributing to your prolapse. I am sorry for your loss and want to assure you that prolapse does not make getting pregnant any harder or cause miscarriage that I know of.
I read another woman here who thought a D&C contributed to her prolapse.
Hopefully you will get your cyst sorted out soon and feel some relief.

thank you and i'll be looking through the search engine too. thanx
