Update and question

Body:

I am now 8 months postpartum. I have made major changes in my diet and recently it feels like my rectocele is less symptomatic. However now my cystocele is so much lower. I am assuming it is because my rectocele is doing well???? Last time I started the posture the cystocele responded the best. It was not symptomatic at all. It wasn't at the opening anymore and I got to the point of not knowing it was even there. I really thought that I would be feeling better by now since I started the posture right away this time and all the other suggestions by Christine. Now the cystocele is right at the opening and by the end of the day it gets quite uncomfortable. The last few days it felt like a tampon was in the wrong way or something. Did anyone else have this experience postpartum? When did your prolapse get better? Is it possible to improve the cystocele now even if the rectocele is out of the way?

my experience was that my cystocele got worse at around 3 mo pp and then slowly better. I think, though, by 8 mo (or maybe it was 10 mo? I forget)I was back at my pre-pg baseline.
but in anycase, I definitely think that it is possible for the cystocele to improve even with the rectocele out of the way.
the other thing I'm wondering...is it possible you might be ovulating? maybe that's why its been worse the last couple of days.

I wonder if I can remember which way it went....I think the cystocele got better and so the rectocele felt so much worse- and I think I totally freaked out thinking everything was worse- when in reality I just lost the support of the anterior wall meeting the posterior wall.
So maybe that is what you got goin on.
What you might try is to get some time on elbows and knees during the day and maybe even a few full on flat on the floor rests. I know 8 months seems like forever but your body does still need rest especially if you are up at night with the baby.
Maybe try some downward dogs.
