Nauli

Body:

Today I was laying on my back and went to get up but was moving slow so I stopped midway and noticed that my stomach looked like you ladies described when doing nauli. My cystocele went up when I was laying like that. I had my head and neck off the bed. I am confused because I thought being on your back wasn't a great position as the bladder and uterus are not supported but that is the only way I can get my stomach like that. I have tried standing up and nothing. Anyone have advice for how I can do it standing up? Also how long are you supposed to hold it etc.?

That position is not great for most movement. and I think Nauli works best when the body is required to work harder- keep trying you will figure out how to do it standing. FInd the links and work on the breathing.
As to how much and how long- I have no idea what is best.
I know for me I felt serious fatigue of my abdominal muscles that let me know when to stop- but over time it became a funny little thing I did- like how some people touch their hair.
I did it at first and felt all around inside to see what was going on- then I did it and tested how long after I could keep my cystocele up- and I went from it staying up 10 seconds to it staying up a few hours to it staying up half the day- until one day it just didn't descend at all. Then I kind of did a maintenance routine- but my rectocele was not as responsive so then I started trying it with kegals- flexing as I pulled up and then feeling the weak spot and concentrating on getting that stronger-

I am glad you are able to do it- isn't it an amazing feeling to feel your bulge just disappear?

Is it supposed to feel like a vacuum with air going inside the vagina?

Yahoo I did it standing up.

when I first started doing this exercise I would pull air in- but then I figured out how to prevent that by deeply contracting my muscles in that area (a big bonus cause then I could do it in public). Also look up the video of it- you will see a rolling of the abs from left to right and right to left- this is an amazing ab workout and gives super definition to the abs with out the awful crunching down that most women use to obtain the same results.
