When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

not sure
hi love2boys
when you try to do the self exam, are you lying down? because that sometimes allows everything to slide back to where it should be. I'd recommend trying that first, and then again in standing (when prolapse is probably at its worst) and compare.
when you get that 'half of one finger' inside, and its blocked, can you move the whatever that is blocking it around? usually prolapsed organs are still pretty mobile, which is why symptoms are so variable from day to day.
I'm worried that your vaginal tightening (or whatever they did to you) might be causing you some of this trouble.
a lump at the back wall is likely a rectocele. sometimes one develops shortly after the first. very common to have more than one type of prolapse, unfortunately.
I personally find that I feel the heavy sensation most often right before my period or if my bowels or bladder are full. I think its when other things are taking up space that my symptoms are most pronounced. for some reason my symptoms are not always related to the degree of prolapse, so I judge my days as 'good' or 'bad' based on symptoms and have tried not to bother myself with the position/size of the bulge.

Thanks granolamom
When i tried the self exam i was standing up in the position it said to be in. I am worried too that whatever they did to me during the surgery made it tighter inside. I also felt a little bump on the right side...not sure if it's scar tissue or what.
I am scared to be examined on the 18th because i am still having pain down there but at the same time i want to know what the lump is and what kind of prolapse and how severe or not severe it is.
It is weird cause when i have a full bladder or bowel, it doesn't necessarily make me feel that heavy sensation...actually i don't think i feel it then. It just comes and goes...like maybe walking for a long time or washing the baby bottles. Sometimes i will even feel it for less than a minute and the feeling is gone.
But yah i should try laying down and exam to see if it's still blocked. It was painful when i tried so i stopped. Hopefully i will get some answers at my app't.

your new reality
love2boys, take it slowly, but continue trying to figure this all out. it is important for you to learn the new anatomy down there, your new normal. because this work is largely about using what you have to correct or compensate for what isn't any longer 'normal' (though I hate that word).
maybe soak in a hot bath for a bit and then try to poke around (gently!) and see what you find.
