DVD region format for Australia?

Body:

I was just wondering if the new DVD is able to be played on DVD players formatted in the Australian region? Are there any Australians you have ordered and successfully played the DVD. I know I've had problems with this in the past when I've ordered DVDs overseas.

Many thanks in advance

Hi fc12

Hey, welcome.

My new DVD hasn't arrived yet, but the old first Aid for Prolapse DVD caused me no problems. It is all about format of recording and formats readable by the machine you are using, or shoud I say, its software. You could try downloading a different DVD player if you are having difficulty on your computer. I'll let you know when my copy arrives (any day,I hope).

I think many of the DVDs that give problemns are cheapies, maybe pirated. Not a lot of quality control. Having said that, we have recently had problems with a locally-produced corporate DVD. They replaced it, and the second copy works OK.

Will get back to you when mine arrives. It should be OK. They are published for an international market, after all.

Cheers

Hi fc12

My DVD arrived today, 24 Feb. It was despatched from Wholewoman on 12 Feb. I can play it on both my loungeroom DVD player and my computer DVD drive using PowerDVD5, or Windows Media Player, or Classic Real Player. I am so happy with it. It is even better than I thought it would be. Love the Faerie Dance at the end, and the explanations of all the steps in the workout are wonderful, particularly those who have no dance background.

Cheers

That's a real help. I actually ordered it because someone from the online shop assured me I could return it if it doesn't work.

It's great to hear such a great review though!
Many thanks
