When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

Too expensive and not available anywhere else
Uk resident - I have just tried to purchase the new DVD online and was shocked and disappointed to discover how expensive it is! $49.95, Hollywood blockbuster movies cost far less than that to buy! Oh well, I'd resigned myself to spending far more than I can comfortably afford, so continued to complete the online order form. Then another shock, the system wanted a further $30.50 for 'Priority Mail International' or $36.50 for 'Express Mail International' No other shipping options seem to be available. That's a total of well over $80!!
I do not want the DVD to be sent within the next 24/48 hours, I've waited 30 years, I'm more than happy to wait a few more weeks!
Needless to say, I did not proceed with the order. I simply cannot afford it. I feel extremely disappointed that there isn't an option for 'normal' shipping. Although still very expensive, I would have considered purchasing the DVD if the cost of shipping wsn't so high.
I have tried to purchase at both Ebay and Amazon but to no avail. I have even asked if my local library could order it for me (and countless others like me) to borrow but they couldn't trace it either. It's just not available anywhere else other than through this site, and at a price most of us cannot easily afford in these credit crunch times. That is so wrong. If Christine wants to 'spread the word' she needs to look beyond the privileged few and reach out to the rest of us.
Dare I ask if anyone wouldn't mind copying the DVD and making it available online?!!

The DVD
To be honest - Factoring in the massive costs of making the DVDs - And not having thousands of pounds like movie companies who make millions in profits - I would assume this is why the costs are higher than on amazon for a film...
I really do not think Christine would want her work copied and put online - After all - Is she not allowed to make a living ? After having put so much of herself and her life (and money) into this.
Yes it may cost a few quid but you will find that it is well worth the investment in yourself and your health.
If you look at it as a life purchase - Then the £40 is not really that much ya know....
I would ask that the comment about copying the DVD be removed - As that is not only an insult to Christines hard work - Its also illegal....
I hope you can get the DVD - or the book - Both are well worth it :-)
Good luck
Sometimes youre holding someone else's heart in your hands. You can drop that heart & bruise it. You can squash that heart & hurt it. Or you can stomp on it & totally annihalate it. You stomp on that heart or bruise it. It can forever be changed ♥

too expensive and not available anywhere else
little me,
your post is astonishingly self-centered and insensitive. if you want entertainment, go to blockbuster. if you want life changing information that someone has spent more than a decade researching and many months and tens of thousands of dollars putting together you can expect to pay more for it. and no, it's not available through amazon, nor will it be. shipping cost is a legitimate complaint and we are looking into less expensive options although you act is if we had control over what the post office charges.
your final comment is deeply offensive. suggesting that members of this community should violate the law, undermine our tenuous ability to keep this work moving forward and this site available to women by charging a reasonable fee for the value received is unconscionable, arrogant and unethical. if you want help with your prolapse, then deny yourself a few trips to blockbuster.

hey little me
well....asking the library to order it was a good idea. I wonder what their budget looks like for these things. I plan to sometime purchase the book and donate it to my library. But maybe I could get them to just order it-hmmm.
I know the DVD is expensive. Honestly it is all expensive (wholewoman stuff). But it is like most things- I can go to a fast food place and get a burger for $1 the same burger at the local organic joint in town will run me almost $10. I don't eat fast food, it is full of chemicals that are known to cause cancer etc...not to mention the whole "ethical dilemma". Same for clothing from walmart- sure it is cheeper but it does not last and then there are personal hygiene products- shampoo, lotion, make-up, and even entertainment- I would much rather see a broadway show than anything in the movies today-and finally groceries- you pay more for the local organic and your body is healthier for it (in the long run you save money for yourself and our planet. Man, you could even apply the principle to childcare- sure there is cheep care out there (they are always the places you see investigated for leaving a kid in a hot vehicle)- but would you really want your baby to go there?
I don't think that these things are just for the privileged- I don't eat out once a day or once a week or even once a month- but it is worth it to me to save up for a great meal out. We don't buy clothing frequently- we love second hand and hand me downs, I don't buy "fun" foods at the store-prepackaged meals or cereal- I go with beans and rice and oatmeal- but I get organic. We never go out to the movies- but once a year or twice a year we see a live production. I guess in the end it is just about values. I value quality. I spend money on items that will make my life richer and my body healthier.
What I have done is when a family member asks me what I want as a gift I ask them for stuff from wholewoman. For some reason I can justify spending a larger amount on a gift than 'just because'.
I have the DVD and I can tell you it is quality material- think about what you would pay for a gym class over a year- The dvd has a work out that is going to help stabilize your prolapse. Think about how much it costs to have surgery, get a pessary fitted, have pt, etc...
instead of comparing the DVD cost to the cost of a movie or even the cost of something like 'buns of steel' think of what the DVD is actually doing for you. The DVD is just a medium to pass along priceless information. Try to change your frame of reference.
We have covered the idea of Christine's Motive here before-someone innocently assumes Christine is out to make a pretty penny off of us consumers and is quickly chagrined to learn that Christine is still in great personal debt- has sacrificed a good portion of her life to "spread the good news" that prolapse is indeed treatable without surgery and to dispel the myth that surgery is even a successful solution. She started this journey and continues to search for even better non-surgical management efforts.
One of the most recent of these efforts has resulted in a fantastic, informative DVD and well worth the money I assure you.
I am sure you didn't understand the legalities of copying the DVD or the personal insult you paid to Christine. I hope you can let this roll off your back and find a way to get the DVD. It is really the way to go if you can only afford one thing.
and Christine I will work on my testimonial tonight..

postage & DVD
i asked when i ordered it for them to ship it 1st class international and they have--it was meant to go on the website, but didn't work somehow
but it's cheaper, though takes longer but i said i didn't mind. you can use the "contact me" on the website to ask and they are great about getting back.
i know it feels expensive in comparison to what we become used to, but as others have said, it's about investing in ourselves. I know there will be people who can't afford it at all, but lots of us can. my personal choice is i go w/o a few things for a while to be sure i can afford what's good for my health. it's about making choices--we have to do it everyday, and decide what our priorities are. and i know that making dvd's is not cheap--and this isn't subsidised. so if you look at how many they'd have to sell to even cover costs, then it would probably seem very very cheap!
re pirating--i would just really think about the effect that it has. buying the DVD supports Christine and her work. putting it online or copying it means that there is less support for her work, so she isn't able to reinvest to do new things. presumably you are here on this forum because you have found her work to be beneficial, or believe that it will be. where would we all be without it? personally, i want to be sure that her work is here for women in 10, 20, or 30 years who are in the same place i was two years ago. i want her to continue to find new answers to the health issues we deal with, and if my buying one DVD can help that, I"m thrilled. and if i have to go without something for a little while to afford it, then at least i know it's for an amazing reason!!!

Testimonials
HI All
I think we have probably said enough about the cost of the DVD. I don't walk in anyone else's shoes, so I cannot comment on the validity of any comments. If you want to keep talking about it, how about starting a topic in the Emotional Issues Forum? Otherwise this topic will turn into a flaming war, which none of us needs. This is not why the topic was started.
Christine, I'm still thinking about my testimonial. I want to use the DVD a bit first.
Cheers
Louise

I love the dvd
As I have already said, I love it.
The workout is truly amazing, I feel all my pelvic organs raised after doing the exercises.
Since I got the dvd 3 weeks ago my cystocele and uterine prolapse have got much better (and I am 2 years postpartum and they already improved a lot before just by using the posture). And I don't even have time to do the program every day!
Finally I have an exercise routine I can use to strengthen my whole body without having to worry whether particular exercises will hurt my prolapse...
I know that I am not supposed to mention the price but I think that it is worth every penny (or cent, I should say).
