When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

RE: Repair?
If you have minimal comfort with the prolapses why undergo surgery and allow what body parts you have remaining immobilized. Talk about added discomfort!!!. You are in the beginning stages and hopefully will be able to arrest any further progression. Nothing comes with a promise, not even this, but then the surgical route also doesn't.

RE: Repair?
Katrina..I agree with Sybille...If I have to go thru the rest of my life with a v brace, I would rather do that then have a doctor of Practice remove a part of my body that should stay there. I just got my brace today and cant wait to see how it works out tomorrow. I am still waiting for the book. My instinct tells me that the correct posture will make a big difference. It all makes too good of sense. Love and Light willowrain

RE: Repair?
Thanks for the input:
My prolapse is outside of my body.
I listen to all in this universe that I hear.
My inner voice tells me that what this doc wants to do is absolutely ridiculous?
My sense of good health led me to him for advise.
We have so few doctors here in Ont, Canada
I am so grateful for the information that I hear on this site.
I share somewhat the anger at medical people for not having a more gentle way of advising me to deal with a somewhat degenerative? condition. It is not my intent to do what I do not comfortably feel I should.
I could not find casille soap that Christine advised so I found a baby soap. It will not stay up while I shower so it slighly burns through the day with most soaps and this concerns me.
It is so true that besides the perceived unnaturalness of this and a bit of dryness it in no way seems to bother me. Unless it is the cause of some leg pain??
Maybe my sciatic nerve--I have had therapy recently for this--my fascia are week also in my ukpper legs.

RE: Repair?
Cathy,
I so hope you can relax into this work and see if it will pull your prolapse back inside. Once the organs are inside things are infinitely easier. Until then, use caution with soaps, etc. and see if the V2 supporter is something you'd be interested in. If you can't become more comfortable, and I must remind you that many women here have increased their comfort level to a point where they don't even feel their prolapse any longer, then other things become an option.
I'm betting on your success.

RE: Repair?
Hi Cathy,
You might find castille soap at a health food store or on the internet.
My prolapse protrudes at times and when I shower I hold it up and just use clear water to cleanse around the opening of my vagina.
You will find that using the posture sitting and standing helps to get things up and many other benefits too. Relaxing also helps (deep breathing works for me),when I am tensed up my prolapse seems to be worse.
I hope this helps you. I live in B.C.

Hi Cathy
I saw castille soap in Trader Joe's yesterday. Do you have one near you?

REI and Vitamin Cottage also carry this soap. You can order from both on-line. Just go to REI.com or Vitamincottage.com. Good luck. I have the Hemp Peppermint Castile soap. It is a little stingy so next time I will try the plain soap and not in the liquid but a bar. :)
