When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

Urethrocele
Hi clavicula,
I believe what I do have is a true urethrocele. It is part of the urethra protruding out the vaginal opening. It is not between the urethral opening and the vagina, but a prolapse of the lower vaginal wall into the vagina. I can reduce it by pushing it back up, but it just falls back down. It feels like rough, bumpy skin (rugae) when I feel it. My bladder may be a bit low, but I don't feel it at my vaginal opening.....I just had an assessment by a pelvic floor P.T., and she told me she had never seen a true urethrocele before me. At the entrance to the vagina, it looks about marble size; it fills my vaginal opening. When it is bad, it causes "pinching" type pain with some tiredness of the perineum. In my situation, I do not think a pessary would work (nor at this point would I consider it) as my prolapse is too low, even a tampon goes past it!.....I also have no urge incontinence, mild stress incontinence, but often, post void dribbling i.e. double voiding...... I hope that answers your questions. I'm 15 weeks pp and I developed symptomatic prolapse early into my second trimester. I'm think I'm getting better. I"m feeling the prolapse a little less, and will often go without the V2 supporter. Please ask further questions if needed!

Thanks Janice, of course you
Thanks Janice, of course you helped!
Yes, I can push these rugae back up a tiny little bit, but not too much. So I guess if this is urethrocele, it is a small one.

Granolamom said in another thread...
...that she thinks of the uterus as a weight that holds the bladder forward. and the uterus holds the top of the vaginal canal up, which is why vaginal vault prolapse is exceedingly rare in a women who has her uterus.
So IIRC, if the uterus moves further up and forward, it helps the bladder to move up also, and this helps the urethral prolapse to improve.
Am I right? :)

all connected
I think you're right about that. I forget all the anatomy, but I think the bladder is actually connected to the uterus. I should look that up to be sure, but my experience is that the nauli pulled up my uterus, which in turn pulled up my bladder and urethra. at least that's how it seemed to happen.
but I'm just confirming my own statement, so hopefully someone else will let us know if I'm way off base.

Nauli is the best!
I tried Nauli while touching my vaginal opening and i have felt strongly what you just described. Even my non-existing rectocele (so in my case the posterior wall) was firming up and pulled up while doing Nauli.
Cool stuff, huh? lol
