When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

Welcome Grace
Hi Grace
You are in good company in NYC, but I am on the other side of the world. I do like your optimism.
A good doctor may be recommended by another Member, but it sounds like you already know what's happening in that bod of yours so I guess the request for a doctor is just to get a good formal diagnosis. In the meantime you can also do the self-exam in the book, which will give you as much information, if not more, than you will get from a doctor, and you can repeat it whenever you want to, if your symptoms change. Most of us find that our prolapses change, depending on what we have been doing, so your uterus may not always present the same.
Understanding how *your* body works is critical to managing all pelvic organ prolapses (POP). Once you understand what it is doing it is easy to do tasks differently to avoid symptoms and work around the activities that give it trouble. No doctor will ever put your uterus back where it belongs because all surgical procedures change the way the uterus is supported, which causes uneven tension in the endopelvic fascia, which sets you up for further prolapse, kind of like pulling together the edges of a hole in pantihose.
While you wait for a suitable doctor to be recommended, I suggest that you learn Wholewoman posture, take a look at your diet, loosen your clothes around your belly so you can allow it to take its natural shape, and take a look at how you exercise and do daily tasks. Your prolapsed uterus will always be prolapsed (and hopefully always with you) but you will probably be able to considerably reduce any symptoms you are experiencing, as many of us have found.
Cheers
Louise

Welcome Grace
Thank you Louise for all of the motivation. I have started to read the book and now you are making me read even faster.
I know that I am the new kid on the block but I have all of the faith in the world that I can make the changes that are necessary to get the best results possible.
Love
Grace

hi grace
I'm in NY, not far from the city (on LI) but I have no good dr's to recommend. I'm currently using a midwife, but she's still not 'getting' the wholewoman concept. I've given her the book, and had multiple conversations with her and still she says, ok, but don't forget the kegels.
I also haven't found (admittedly, haven't looked too hard) for anyone doing this kind of work other than christine.
dr's are always good to have, should you need one, but I'd say you can most likely see good results from this work without one. everything you need to know is in the book and if not, ask here.
