For GMom, Wishing you all the best!

Body:

HI Granolamom,

I'm aware that your impending arrival could be any time now (or a while to go) but in case your gorgeous baby arrives on the sooner end of the birthing window, I wanted to wish you a most fabulous birth! We'll be thinking of you, and hoping for a lovely calm birth in whatever way you need.
Enjoy the arrival of your newest family member, and I can't wait to hear who joins you ;-)
and enjoy your babymoon when you get there...

(gotta get that all in there as I'm guessing we won't see you round here for a while after!)

Kiki

I second kiki's sentiments. Those last few days/weeks of not knowing when they will arrive are tough (at least they were for me). I had finally had enough 3 days before she was due and went for 2 long walks in deep snow and had a massage. It seemed to work because I went into labour at 1:00 am that night......I wish you a wonderful birth, a healthy baby, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for a good little sleeper! We'll all be thinking of you and ready to encourage you in the days and weeks pp.

Good luck,
Janice

..for a blessed birth, Gmom. We love you!!! Christine

well, no baby yet, and I know I should stop wondering if 'todays the day' because I'm not really even due for another week. but you know how it is......
spent the day yesterday setting up the rear facing car seat, washing diapers and preparing a crib (ha! as if any of my newborns sleep in a crib! but its a safe place for baby while I'm in the bathroom. and as dh points out, a good place to store baby clothes).
big kids are going a bit wacky, either the excitement/anxiety or the full moon getting to them.
still don't have any names picked out but I'm hoping that will come shortly after the baby does.
so now just tapping my fingers and waiting.......

will keep you all posted, thanks so much for all the kind well-wishes.

Everyday now! Share the good news ASAP!!!
Praying here too.
Liv

Just popped in here for a minute G-mom and I see it's almost your time. My very best wishes for a wonderful birth! I'll be thinking about you and hoping to hear from you soon! All's well here! Just loving that new grandbaby! Well, not so new anymore...almost 6 months already!!

Keep us posted!

Love,
~Mae

It is so exciting to have one of my friends about to give birth. I don't have sisters or brothers, and not many of my friends have grandchildren yet.

Our alpacas were shorn the other day at a neighbouring farm. One of the other women who had alpacas being shorn is 10 days off birthing too, but the first time, and she is a bit nervous about it. It was lovely to be able to reassure her that her body was designed for it, and that she would be fine. I just told her to go with it and just to enjoy it. She looked at me like I was a bit crazy, but I assured her that it was OK to enjoy it. I hope it does go well for Carissa, and for you Granolamom, with all your experience. Birthing certainly is one of those big experiences in our lives, in so many ways.
