What are reasonable expectations to improve?

Body:

Hello again. I purchased Christine's book and dvd last year. I believe I am doing the firebreathing correctly, I walk a lot, I am seeing a PT and believe I am eating well.
I have noticed that even using the posture, that I still have a bulge at the vaginal opening (but not while sitting or lying down). What is reasonable for me to expect? I have either a cytoscele or urethecele. I have read in some posts that some woman notice immediate improvement with the posture. Maybe I am not doing it correctly, but I think I am.
Is it reasonable to think I could get to a point where I don't have the bulge protruding from my vagina?...right now it protrudes about a 1/2 inch.
Other than being annoying...I can live with it knowing it could lift over time and not get any worse. Is there hope for me?

are you recently postpartum? are you menopausal, peri-menopausal or post menopausal? What is the severity of your current prolapse (is that a 1/2 inch past the labia majora?) and what would you consider improved?
I read your other posts over again- sounds like you are feeling better already- no more incontinence?
I think it is reasonable to expect full healing- or at least fully restoring the body to optimal function- The question is more like 'how long will it take you to get there'
That is where I want to be.
Sometimes we talk about 'baseline' which is the state of your prolapse where you don't have any bothersome symptoms.
We also use the term 'stabilized' which is getting your prolapse to baseline and keeping it there over time.
I think it is reasonable to expect to get your prolapse to baseline and stabilized.
Have you looked at Nauli yet? It sounds like you've gotten the hang of Firebreathing- it is similar with more dramatic effects-

I am 61 yr. young...just developed a noticable bulge in summer 09 when I was busy getting ready for my son's wedding. I am very active and consider myself very healthy...not overweight and eat healthy foods and literally no meat. I guess I am post menopausal...but I still have my own private summer!

My wish is that I would no longer have the bulge at my vagina which protrudes slightly at about half an inch...not there in the morning but as day goes on...it is there. If it just would move up that half an inch I would be thrilled.

Is it reasonable to expect that this bulge will move up out of the way? I would be thrilled with that.

I can live with the notion that it can take time of using correct posture and using my body properly to get to that point....I just want to know is it a reaonable expectation? I know it took me 61 years to get to this point! I also recognize everyone is different. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR INPUT! Having this forum to discuss these issues when you don't hear anyone you know talking about it, is a blessing.
