low down on my cervix

Body:

I'm having trouble more trouble than usual at the moment.
I have a uterine POP with the cervix more towards my back passage than front. The part of the cervix that is most protruding has a sore patch which is visible. I became aware of it after spots of blood appeared in my underwear. I was really worried where the blood was coming from so looked in trepidation. I've had a smear test done just recently and the results were clear. I've been bathing myself in a diluted camomile liquid and using a zinc cream. Are there better ways of reducing the soreness on my cervix?
I'm also suffering much more at the moment from the urge to pee.
When I've just been to the tot I get up and often the urge is still there.
If I have to go out walk my dog or anywhere else where there might not be a tot, I get anxious. Seeing as my uterus is so low, is this putting pressure on my bladder? How can I help this?
I've read on the forum that the uterus should find its way back into the body - is this always the case and how long does it normally take for some improvement to be noticed.
I'm trying to be really aware of WW posture. I'm also trying to remember to do nauli several times a day and thought every time I empty my bladder might be a good idea. I saw fire breathing on youtube but can't imagine how to do this myself.
Thanks so much for any ideas.

Hi Pompom

Just wondering what your cervix is rubbing on? Probably knickers. Have you thought of going without while it heals? Or wear granny knickers that do not come up hard against your crotch? Doesn't sound very sexy, but a bleeding cervix is not very sexy either. Breaking the vicious circle of inflammation > vulnerability> damage > more inflammation, might do the trick in just a few days. I have found that sometimes my vulva simply needs a rest to get it back to normal after a period of inflammation.

I have just reread an earlier post in which you speak of helping your adult children deal with life problems. Yes, it is easy as Mum to get absorbed into their difficulties and neglect our own needs. It is also very easy to become hunched over with worry.

Managing your POPs is a 24/7 commitment and it can be hard work until you get some progress and it becomes more intuitive.

I don't think you have mentioned your weight. Overweight will simply fill up the space and leave less room for pelvic organs. Then if you lose weight too quickly there is too much room until your skin and tissues can shrink back. No win.

I am wondering if you are having difficulty relaxing your lower belly. I still forget sometimes, and it certainly makes a difference when I relax it.

I think it can get to a point where the organs get sucked back in again, but that cannot happen until the whole abdominal contents can be jiggled into their most comfortable positions. You have been going with Wholewoman for about 12 months now. I still think there is opportunity for your organs to reposition themselves.

I think your idea of nauli every time you empty your bladder is a good one. If you still feel like there is urine in your bladder after a pee, stand up, knickers up and walk around the bathroom a couple of times. Do a few plies, then try again. Do anything you can to empty your bladder. Then try to fill it completely again before having another pee. A full bladder is a very good pessary.

I also wonder if you have some rectocele or simple constipation. I get the sensation of bladder fullness when I am constipated, and seem to have to go more often. Getting rid of the constipation fixes the urge to pee frequently. I think a full colon simply puts a lot of squeeze on the bladder. It might also make your firebreathing less effective.

This is all just guessing on my part.
