I know we've discussed acupuncture and chiro. on and off on the forum but i rarely hear of anyone using homeopathy and I saw it referred to on sites like abc of homeopathy. Just wondering if anyone's tried it out. I love to hear how a multifaceted holistic approach can work for us and our 'celes.

a while back, my mw recommended sepia for my pg related migraines.
since then, I've done some reading and been using sepia for all sorts of pms issues, including the increased pressure I get from the prolapse then. It seems to work, but impossible for me to say for sure. I don't use it consistently enough, and my symptoms aren't all that consistent either.

my homeopath first prescribed hellonius (sp?) 30 1x a week for about 8 weeks.
i had a huge lift feeling after the first, so we made it every 2 weeks or if i felt it wearing off that a bit sooner.
i did about 8 doses, and then felt less effect, but i still take it if i feel like i've overdone it ie lifted something i shouldn't have

she was then prescribing sepia but didn't have as good results

I'm new here...1st post. 38 years old. Still muddling thru a recent diagnosis of 3rd degree combo prolapse (uterine/vaginal), 3 weeks after home birth of 5th child. Seeing an OB on the 7th, but am not holding my breath for any true help. Hoping to get a better assessment, as my general Dr. saw me when things started slipping. But, after reading Christine's book, I see that even that may be hard to obtain.

Here's everything I'm doing/planning:

Homeopathy: I was going to do sepia, but my symptoms matched lilium better.

Herbs: Red Raspberry Leaf Tea, Lady's Mantle and False Unicorn Root.
Cell salts: #1, 4 and 12. #6 would prob. benefit, too.

2. Mayan Abdominal Massage

3. Posture suggestions by Christine in her book and exercises in there and in the YouTube videos (until I get the DVD.

4. Continue a healthful diet and rest as much as possible Just came off of bed rest and am not lifting anything, now, even baby (very hard). Thoughts on that (rest/not lifting)--for how long? Truly helpful?

go ahead and lift your baby. That certainly won't hurt anything at all!

Sounds like you are on the right track, but I can't comment on the herbals, cos I don't know a lot about them.

We say that two years is about how long it takes for your body to revert after a pregnancy and birth, so you will need some patience too. It might get worse before it gets better. We don't know why, but it is quite normal. Enjoy your babymoon.

First, I believe the WW posture is helping more than anything.

I had a real problem learning the "fire breathing" until I got down on my knees and elbows and for some reason I was able to do it that way better and it does work. Maybe it is just my crazy body but I can't seem to do it in the standing position.

As far as herbs go, raspberry leaf tea is wonderful as is the herb Dong Qui. Also yarrow seems to be very helpful. I also take a cranberry capsule every few days to ward off an UTI. I've only had that once and once is enough, very painful. I do take sepia, once a week under the tongue. I'm not sure about it but things do seem a little better the next day or two after taking it.

I also do "oil pulling" and I do believe that also helps. I invert too almost daily and things go back in place when I do that. I don't invert all the way, somewhere between a 15 degree angle and a 45 degree angle depending on whether I'm using my inversion table or just an ironing board proped against the frame of a bed.

I also make my own kefir which has about 30+ good bacteria in it. I make my own yogurt too but it only has about 7 strains of good bacteria in it. Eating an apple before bedtime will help with constipation and if I don't have any apples, I take an aloe vera capsule before bedtime.

I realized after mowing for a couple hours recently that I was actually much better afterward. I did adjust the seat of the mower so that I could set in WW posture while I was mowing. We live on a small farm and at one time our front yard was a pasture so the ground isn't smooth and I believe the vibration helped. Then it hit me that an exercise ball might help and I found one of those at my local Wal-Mart for less than $20. I bought one weighted with sand so it stays in place and I use it daily, mainly while I'm at my computer for an hour or so, and it does seem to help. You can sit in WW posture while on one of these balls.

I'm sure there are other things I do but that is what I can think of right now.
