Discharge

Body:

Hi everyone
My prolapses have been bad lately. I was wondering if my monthly discharges and period could be slower to come out because of it ? sorry for icky factor and tmi....Has anyone here noticed this with their own experiences? Thanks

H Ginny

I am now post menopause. During my reproductive life I experienced many changes in both sensations during menstruation and the day/night patterns of bleeding.

The changes happened after I had babies, as I headed into menopause, and following my uterus flipping from retroverted to anteverted, about two years before cessation of menstruation, (which was in turn about two years after I started Wholewoman techniques). There are so many factors to take into consideration.

I would think there is a distinct possibility that your observations are correct, though it is hard to know what causes what. I think it is more likely that there are several things happening together that are reinforcing each other, rather than there being a direct cause/effect relationship .

I hadn't had a period for a little over 2 years due to being pregnant back to back & not having one in between the pregancies. BUT now, my cycles are regular again. They come exactly 35 days apart from one another. And it is different in the amount of days it lasts than it was before the birth of my last 2 kiddos. I've observed it to run it's normal 4 day span w/about 3 days of brownish discharge afterward. Then the last 2 months around 15 days (after the actual menstruation) I spot for one day. The brownish discharge & spotting are new.....I'm also able to notice the "egg white" consistancy discharge (indicating ovulation) so much easier than ever, could that be because my cervix sits so much lower? I dunno, good possibility.....

I dunno if this is realated to POP at all. I tend to agree w/Louise that our cycles just change over the years. I do feel it's a good idea to pay attention to it, IE: chart observations on a calendar, incase you feel it is something you should bring up to your doctor.

Thanks girls I appreciate very much you replying. I will keep an eye on it. Many thanks
