Very New - Help with WW Posture

Body:

hi all, found this site a couple days ago. I am very recent to bladder prolapse. I have ordered DVD and book. I am in Australia and am eager to learn about ww posture, can someone explain what this is as I am on my feet 12 hours a day. Makes for a very tired body by the end of the day.

Have a look at Christine's Youtube videos (channel is wholewomaninc). There are excerpts from the DVD's. You can probably get some idea about posture from them. Your DVD's shouldn't take more than 10 days to get to Oz.

The aim of the posture is to move the pelvic organs forwards and away from the vagina. The main component is to lift the chest and relax the belly, which increases the radius of the lumbar curve and tilts the pelvis forward, but there are other subtle features of it as well.

Use the Search box to search for 'posture'.

Come back with more questions later.

Hi bailey,
Welcome to WW - I hope you find you've come to a very helpful place, full of women who have some experience and understanding of prolapse, full of knowledge and advise around low risk, health enhancing treatment and recovery. WW is here to help.

Hope you've received your book and dvd by now. I found both really helpful.

On another note, sometimes prolapse can highlight areas in our lives which are causing stress. I'm wondering whether 12 hours on your feet all day is contributing to your problems - and whether there's any possibility of easing or changing that situation. Just a thought...

Wishing you all the best - and good luck.
Best wishes, wholewomanuk
