When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

Welcome back Juls
Hi Juls
Sorry you are having this awful pain with cystitis. You have been a busy woman since you last posted, with extra babies.
I gather from your post that you have not taken any antibiotics, but I am wondering if there is some infection lurking in there, which might really give you some trouble. Making the symptoms settle as you have is a good move, but I have always found that eventually I have needed antibiotics to clear it up properly. Not nice, but a pragmatic solution.
I haven't had one of these incidents for many years now, but it did take some time for the last one to settle, even after antibiotics. I think there was also some thrush involved from the beginning, which complicated it further, and gave me so much inflammation in my pelvis. Of course the antibiotics allowed the thrush to take over, and I ended up doing a very limited diet for a week or so, eliminating any processed foods, and simple carbs to keep my blood sugar steady, and allow my body to deal with it. I used two different types of thrush cream as well. I also followed up with a month ourse of probiotics. All those things together seemed to fix it and I have not been bothered by either, since then.
I do hope this last attack has settled and that you are recovering.

Thanks
Thanks Louise! I was hoping to avoid antibiotics as they put my system in such a mess. I will take them if it persists though. :) I am on the mend but time will tell! And, yes, I have had 2 more babies since I first registered with WW. :) It's true you can still have babies with prolapse. It hasn't worsened much. My lifestyle is what truly affects my prolapse more than my pregnancies. I do have a mild rectocele now but that happened after I tried to use a pessary! I am busy, but I need to learn to take care of myself and my prolapse more! :) Thanks again!
