When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

Thank You!
Hi davemayamom
I've been worrying about whether I'm doing the posture correctly and this helps me to understand it better! Thanks again!!

Walking
Thank you davemayamom,
I tried walking that way this morning and yes, it does seem to work. I have also noticed something else that I have been meaning to comment on. When I walk or stand with my feet slightly farther apart than usual, that seems to help some too. My old normal way of walking was with my feet so close together that at times I have even hit my ankle with the other foot when making a step. I guess I have done this my whole life. For awhile now I have made an effort to walk with my feet about 6 inches or so apart and it does seem to help. When I am standing doing work for a long period of time, I also try to stand with my feet about a foot or so apart and this too seems to help. I know everyone doesn't walk like I did but maybe there is someone who does that this will help.

Standing steady and strong
I look at it this way, LittleBit
The centres of our hip joints are approximately a foot apart. Intuitively it makes sense for our feet to be the same distance apart.
Clasping the thighs together will just produce tension in our adductor muscles, and move the weight of our body towards the inner arches of our feet. Our feet will thank us for putting our body weight equally over the inner arch (heel to big toe), the outer arch (heel to little toe) and the transverse arch (bases of little toe to big toe).
Feet apart should also produce more even loading on our knee joints.
It also gives us a wider, more stable base, which means we can relax better while standing.

Louise,
The way you explain it makes a lot of sense.

Chakra thoughts
I was thinking more on this, and I'm probably getting a bit too hippy, but the belly is "technically" closer to the second and third chakras. First chakra is really perineum territory.
Having said that, it still kinda worked when I practised "belly walking" today. Definitely felt very grounding, which is said to be a first chakra thing. A nice way to be.
I always find that my prolapse feels worse when I'm tired, and I can't help thinking there's some energetic connection there. Like our energy dissipates when we're fatigued, or a certain chakra becomes deficient.
Okay, enough hippy talk.
