walking and rubbing..ugh!

Body:

hi my friends...

have started walking about a mile
a day ...helps with lots of stuff but
it is NOT helpful to loretta...at least
not for me...

i do try my best to be in posture as i am
walking but loretta is *so* aggravated
at the end of the walk..it becomes quite
uncomfortable....and stays irritated for the
rest of the day...

it is cool here in new england and no
matter how baggy the pants...everything
grabs me in the wrong spots.....

i love leggings with oversized tops...but
even they aren't feeling too good these days..

anyone else experience this rubbing/irritation
with POP/loretta?

thinking i will be sticking with skirts heavy
socks when i am walking outdoors...

i seem to have regressed in the pop department..
it is discouraging but i am trying to keep a somewhat
upbeat attitude..

thanks for listening and any
future sharing...

Hi Susan,

I'm so sorry to hear you're still struggling.

It is intolerable to have your uterus/bladder that low. We need to walk to keep a baseline level of fitness - otherwise it will be a slippery slope to a sedentary, painful, limited existence.

I, too, have very low days when I *must* lift my uterus up mechanically. I have found 4 large, organic cotton balls (two on each side) drenched in DHA/flax oil and placed high into the back corners of the vagina to provide very good relief as well as a lifting forward that remains for days after the cotton balls are removed. When they are soaked in oil, they are relatively easy to remove. It is a reach and needs to be done with care, but the oily balls are pretty easily dislodged. I leave them in all day.

Another symptom a natural lumbar curve helps resolve is rubbing together of the inner thighs, which can be very uncomfortable.

Hopefully others will have ideas as well. I so want us all to remain spritely and comfortable.

Hugs from Christine

Have you tried the v2 supporter yet? Maybe that would help.
Also, you might try super lubrication before a walk. that way you won't experience chafing- you may still feel the sensation- but it won't cause pain.
Last thought, while on your walk, stop and do some downward dog and also some jiggling (lousie style).
Big arm flaps too!

Hi there,

I have used a V-supporter - it was quite comfy but it's not for me. It is quite bulky - talk about visible panty line! It's more suitable to wearing under a skirt.

For my own comfort I wear a Spanx type panty (larger than I would normally wear) but NOT the super strength one. I still have room to hold the posture and it suits me. Other times I wear panty hose with a slight support panty but instead of pulling up to the waist I make a sort of cradle under the tummy.

As the day wears on I sometimes have problems with feeling that everything has dropped but I do downward dog, firebreathe, jiggle - you name it I try it!!! For lubrication I use Replens or my own "balm" which I made with coconut oil, beeswax plus a few drops of lavender essential oil.

Keep on keeping active and consult the WW site regularly - it is a fount of knowledge and a great comfort when one is feeling cheesed off with POPs.

Fleur.

i thought i posted a *thank you*
yesterday but can't seem to find it
now..so if this is a duplicate...
thank you thank you !! :-)

happiest of holidays to everyone...
