Flyers are done!

Body:

hellooo...

We now have prolapse flyers geared towards doctors talking about WW and flyers geared toward women in the doctor's waiting room. We also made some locally based ones about the WW Center as a women's meeting place. I will have Nik (the next gen WW web guru) upload them soon.

Next on the list is finishing a flyer for therapists for referrals to us her at Whole Woman. Taking charge of your body and your own destiny gives women agency, and that can help cope with the mental reprecussions of prolapse. The best part? Therapists don't make money off of surgeries, so they have nothing to gain by recommending it.

I will think about the active senior group flyer, but I also think that in the mean time the two flyers mentioned above will be great. Any ideas on how this one could differ and be more targeted? Prolapse effects women of all ages, but can you think of any language that would capture that demographic more than another? I am of a rather younger age bracket (we call ourselves Next Gen Whole Women) so I would love some suggestions.

And just a reminder, if someone is still posting on the housekeeping page, direct them over here!

Hi Amy

Could we have one for pregnant women?

Could we have one for girls?

Could we have one for school teachers, perhaps related to the previous one?

Could we have one for men (husbands, brothers and sons) featuring a caricature of a youngish, puzzled, cool-looking man?

Could we have one for hospital AND community midwives?

There would need to be two different types, one for therapists, and the other for family and friends (which would be more relationship-based and awareness-based).

Could we please have a blank greeting card in a standard postage size format, featuring a large WW logo on the front, with just the URL of The Village printed in tiny font on the back? It would need to be in 'no-too-girly' colours. This could be used to enfold the flyers for posting / presentation, and would have room for a message. It wouldn't need to have a paper insert. It could also be used as a general greeting card or notelet. It could be in downloadable form, or for sale through the shop in a pack, or both. One could be slipped into each shop order as a sample, and inexpensive, free gift.

We have to have something. The medical profession won't tell anyone anything so you are made to think you need an operation.I have a leaflet that advertises overian cancer with a nice ribbon up the top. It's nice but louise you think of what to do as i don't know for sure.I am new to the internet really and have only had a bit of help from my son and daughter.Your idea is good as long as we control it and not the medical profession.I have a rectocele.the shame kept me away from people but now i don't give a toss about it.I want to help others to not have all this worry.

Hi Culy Whirly Amy,I have collected long articles from the Better Health Channel with a red apple at the top.As it's medical it will have surgery but what if wholewoman wrote with them with a wholewoman logo for no surgery and an apple for Better Health. Not All the time but just for now.I am 63 and i have a lot to tell you as i had prolapse at 56.it was frightening.Maybe i should write a book.

I would like some flyers from you to put in doctors surgeries.Louise will help me too.
