When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

welcome!
So glad you found us softmama! There is much information, inspiration and encouragement here. I don't know anything about pilates but am certain others do who can be of help. Christine is in the process of revising her book and sometimes shares some of it with us. Read as many of the posts here that interest you to learn even more!

Pilates
I know Christine advises that certain of the mat exercises can put pressure on the pelvic organs, and I understand the reasoning, but personally I've found pilates a huge help in regaining strength throughout my body, including the pelvis, and I am rarely aware of prolapse these days. My teacher keeps up-to-date on all the latest research and has children herself, and is very aware of women's health issues, so when I resumed pilates post-natally (4 years ago) she was careful to set exercises that would strengthen, not hinder, my recovery. I think the key is to work with an experienced teacher who understands anatomy and your body - and really, the same goes for most other forms of exercise. I don't know about martial arts, sorry, so can't help you there.
Good luck with finding something that suits you.

I think it’s something
I think it’s something you’re going to have to try to get a sense for yourself how your prolapse is affected. You should be able to do just about anything as long as you maintain the natural shape of your spine, which deflects internal pressures thus keeping the organs stabilized.
I loved the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, which portrayed how accomplished women can become through martial arts.

Hi
I'm just starting to research QI gong for all round health and prolapse. Perhaps this might be of interest to you. It's more internal and not as defense based and very orionted towards health and i think there may be specific excercises helpfull for women and prolase such as the breathing technique i posted about a few days ago.
I'll let you know what i find out.
Best wishes
Anne
