When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

Resting/sleeping positions
Hi wonderful MsNightgale, I will share with you what has helped me. I like to lay down on the bed with a heating pad under the area that is aching. This relaxes me and rests the area. Also i like to sit on the floor with my legs crossed with a small pillow under my booty. Also I like to sit on the floor with my legs resting straight out in front of me - when tired I sit up straight but with a support behind my back. I donot know the best sleeping positions. Surviving probably does. I hope this helps you or someone else on the forum. I am fortunate that I am retired and I don't have a 9-5 job to go to like some ladies here. Good luck to you!!
Hugs, Jaylove

Sleeping
NIghtingale - There are no special sleeping positions that are going to affect prolapse one way or the other; as Christine says, the important work is done when we are on our feet. But if you sleep on your side, a pillow between the knees is good for hip alignment. Maybe that will help with the aches? Also, propping your head and upper body up on lots of pillows isn't good; it flattens the spine and puts the body at that obtuse angle that we're trying to avoid. Do I sound like I'm always sitting up straight or lying down flat, with nothing in between? Well.....I cannot tell a lie. I slouch on sofas and beds just like everyone else. But I can feel a loss of pelvic support when I do. - S60

Hi Surviving, I just wanted to thank you and let you know on behalf of all of us that we appreciated your responses on the forum even though you were at the Women's Conference in AQ. Bless your heart - for taking the time out to do that. That was wonderful!! You are so lucky to have been there - I wished I could have made it. Thanks again for your loyalty.
Hugs, Jaylove

Sleeping position
Dear All,
Firstly a huge thankyou to Christine for her work & care - I have been searching for alternatives to rectocele surgery since the birth of my 3rd child ( when it became visible during my 2nd pregnancy).
I feel like a sister to you all - I have just joined & the info to the question I was pondering was right here. My husband ordered my Book & DVD bundle - the best Birthday present!! So look forward to receiving it.
Thankyou for answering before I had to ask - I am endeavoring to learn the posture & I woke up without a stiff back this morning - (I'm a back sleeper).
Love & Best wishes to you Beautiful Sacred Souls

Thankyou Survivng60
Thankyou Survivng 60, It truly feels like coming home, thankyou - am already hooked & thrilled that I can help the girls & women in my life also.
Have been down the road of considering surgery & when I mentioned it to the girls' pediatrician, he said to wait because in 20yrs the surgical techniques would be much better!!!
I now give thanks that the gyno/uroligist whom I saw a few times for his ego, terrible manner, his willingness to suggest unnecessary procedures, & my feeling that I'd been hit & run over by bus after consulting him, resulted in not going with him down ANY surgery path.
Love to you all ( how funny - my initials are ASS!!)

Resting on my back!
I love to lie on my back with my knees up but i think it could have caused symptoms to reappear. I'm better now since resting and sleeping on my side but i get sick of being on my side and love it on my back.
I'm not sure if this caused my set back or if it was something else.
Has anyone else experienced any set back when on their back and does anyone know if this position is bad for our prolaps?
Do the organs fall to the back in this position or doesn't it matter as there is no gravity when lying down?

Resting on back..
I too like to rest on my back, during the day with my knees up and feet flat on the ground or with my knees hugged to my chest (which I'm pretty sure I saw in Christine's book). I don't feel my prolapse is any worse, in fact it feels like a nice rest. No downward pressure on any of your muscles so it should be good right?
My physio had told me to rest during the day to take the pressure off, and to hopefully not have symptoms by evening. I wasn't sure, but I tried and it does feel great, I never get enough time lying down (with my three year old around! :P) for it to make a real difference though!
