Thank you, Forum members

Body:

Just before due date, developed cystocele. Were planning home birth, husband (a practical nurse) attending, but nearly panicked until we found your forum. Decided to go ahead. Had our baby in the tub. Went smoothly. Cystocele disappeared post-birth, but returned later. Will follow exercise & posture program. Baby now 9 days old & all's well. THANKS, FORUM! If not for you, we might have gone to hospital and/or had cesaerian.

Hi Mboty and congrats to you! Wow! It's true, we do have some super-duper birthing experts in our midst here, and I'm glad you found us. Take care of yourself now...this is a great time for your body to start experiencing some of the benefits of WW posture. If you do the right stuff you are likely to find the cyst. resolving on its own to some degree or another.

You probably have enough on your plate right now, starting WW being just another thing, but it is SO important. Post-meno people like me wish we had had this knowledge back in our birthing years....please stick around and do this wonderful thing for your body and soul. Congrats and we will be hoping for updates! - Surviving

Oh, Mboti, that is such a wonderful inspiring story! I am going tingly all over! Don't worry about your cystocele for now. Just enjoy your baby and walk, stand and sit tall with a relaxed tummy. And give that man of yours a hug for us. He is a gem!

Your cystocele may get worse for about three months. This is quite normal, and we don't know why. By six months pp it should be starting to behave a bit better. It will take two years for your body to revert on the inside, even though the outside may go back much quicker.

Catching up on the forum and just found this...So amazing. I hope you are feeling well now and so happy for your birth.
