When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

interesting perspective
to preface, I am very religious and believe G-d created man (and woman!) as such.
and yet, it never occured to me to take that 'evolved to an upright position' as statement of evolution vs creationism. I just take it to mean that the human form is evolved from the mammalian form in terms of design. not sure if that makes sense, but sort of an improvement on the design. not necessarily meaning that we originated from apes, but that maybe G-d evolved that design into ours. I dunno, I wasn't there. but it doesn't seem inconsistent with my beliefs.
there are definitely tremendous similarities between our physical make up and that of other mammals. to me, that doesnt' prove or disprove any theories, its just its own fact. so if we look at, say, apes, and compare their form and function to ours, and then see how we differ and come away with insights into our own physical capacity, then good. I don't care much if those who point that out to me believe in this that or the other thing. I take what seems like truth and put it in the context of my own belief system.

forbearance
I just ask for tolerance, as there are many different belief systems here.
Thank goodness we can come to the very same conclusions about our anatomy by looking at the way we develop. As a newborn we have a little amphibian-like spine that only develops human curvature as a result of sitting, standing, and walking. The all-fours concept works just as well whether we are referring to crawling as an infant or crawling as a dinosaur. Really!

I too am
a Christian but never had problem with Christine's thoughts about how we evolved. The anatomy makes total sense to me.

tolerance
Chrisine, I'm not meaning to be critical. I just don't like it when its assumed its truth. The way its put, to me, makes it sound that way. I believe evolution does happen for adaption, but just not that we were ever on all fours. The tailbone has its purpose and is as it is as babies for an intelligent design no doubt. Our appendix also DOES have a purpose. (And I regret that mine is gone due to it bursting after having misdiagnosed appendicitis for SIX MONTHS....). I'm a medical assistant, but have always been into natural health and suppose I've lost faith in the medical field. I never assume my Docs are right before checking things out for myself and usually I diagnose and then go to them for verification. (Except in the case of my appendix, lol).
I'm new here and haven't proven the methods yet but they ring true and I, too, am grateful you have done what you have. I was ready to go for it with surgery and your link came onto my gmail due to a conversation I was having with a PT about my tailbone. I FEEL the relationship to my structure so started researching the issue and it caused me pause for doing surgery. Then I found your site and KNEW I should not have surgery. I'm just learning it all, though, and have to admit that when I first heard that part of the DVD it was a bit of a turn off. I also do the Eat Right 4 Your Type diet and the naturopath who researched that for the book says the same type of thing. Its a difference in belief but enough so that it actually puts some off to the degree they aren't open to it cause they no longer see those beliefs as valid. Just thought you might want to know some people feel that way. No big deal overall to me cause I take what I know to be true and discard the rest. I need to get into the program - haven't yet. I've spent the money so have invested into it and will and NEED to. But still just coming in and seeing things more objectively. Just a first impression thing. I shant make further issue of it, but you are trying to sell your product and thought you might want to know.... I know you are in it to help others more than anything, though, and I DO appreciate it.

Howard Kelly
Christine has a lot of wisdom and is helping me greatly with my rectocele problem. But as a Christian, I am concerned that she may think that all people devout in faith are like Howard Kelly who was a "Sunday school teacher, profoundly prudish, and deeply antisexual," and is quoted as saying, "I do not believe pleasure in the sexual act has any particular bearing on the happiness of life" (see p. 112, "Saving the Whole Woman").I have been married 35 years and definitely do not agree. I wonder if this man ever opened his Bible and read Song of Solomon!! Oh, and I am a Sunday school teacher, too!

evolved or began as we are and pleasure from sex
In reality, I don't see how it matters if we started as four legged and evolved to walk upright, or started upright with our pelvic organs where they belong for the purpose of where we would carry our offspring. What matters most to me is that how we have used our bodies has changed dramatically and those changes are what has impacted our tendency toward prolapse. I wonder how much prolapse there was when women squatted for bowel movement and never bothered to strain because why would you go before you had to anyway? How about how we birth now? If in the past women continued about their day until it was near time and then found a quiet place with other women to open their bodies to birth...again...no one saying how or now or push...just as the baby emerged and their body guided them to help...the baby came. I get we probably will not ever know for sure, but it seems to me if women's body parts were sliding out on a regular basis somewhere this would have been noted. I understand that many do not like the word 'evolved' if they believe in creation and the creation of man and woman as complete beings at that moment, not as four legged animals that were then set upright. I personally do not think I started off as a four legged animal either. I think the science of our anatomy as Christine explains it is still perfectly logical even if we never walked on all fours. We also were not 'designed' with high heels, a tucked in bottom, driving cars or sitting in recliners all day long either. We were designed with a beautiful curve to our bodies that carried the weight of our young easily and we spent our days in motion more than not. I definitely have prolapses....if it is a pelvic organ, it is no longer where it started! Birthing 5 children vaginally and one c for twins made sure nothing is where it once was. However, I did not have even so much as a 'notice it' until very recently and I am 50 years old. I wonder if that is because I rarely wore heels, did not bother to wear tight clothing often enough to matter since what I wore mostly was for comfort of pregnancy or ease of nursing, and the idea of sucking it in and tucking it under...hahahaha...yeah, well, that would not have helped a whit since no matter how much I did or did not, I was always so overweight, why bother? I had been walking five miles a day and changed my diet a few years ago, lost a lot of weight, and was feeling great! Actually noticed the prolapses since I slacked on my walking and reading how important it is, I am getting back to it now.
If anything I might say "we are not evolving"! We are human and for thousands upon thousands of years, we have walked, ran .....fast I bet when necessary. We might have climbed too. I like the idea of using our bodies as they were designed/developed/evolved to be used as humans. I am not so sure that the hundreds of years we have as a way of carrying our bodies and using them has allowed for any such thing as biological change to our organs and muscles.
As for the quote about sex and pleasure having no purpose....I have to say rather creation or evolution is his belief...logically that is nonsense! Oxytocin has a purpose...and that purpose goes beyond the mother and child bond from breastfeeding since we also release it during orgasm and it bonds us to our mates. Believe in evolution and it is that mating was best for the offspring survival...believe in God's creation and it makes sense to have a bond between the male and female that were needed to care for the helpless offspring. Mr. Howard Kelly likely has no clue what loving sex is supposed to be and I hope if he is married, his wife does not have to live to prove his nonsense. Haha.

ROFL, mommy2seven!!! What a wonderful post, full of down to earth commonsense. It really doesn't matter how we came to be. It just matters how best we respond to who we are and how we are.
I hope I never come face to face with Mr Kelly (for his sake). ;-)
