Balance

I did not realize I had so much difficulty with balance until I have been trying to follow the exercises in the dvd 'first aid for prolapse'. Oh #x%.....I need to do something about this too!!. I found Christine's short video re improving balance 2 days ago and have been doing that 3 minute workout 2x daily hoping to improve same. I am thinking that perhaps if I walk barfoot while indoors and do some walking on tiptoe during the day this will strenghten my arches while maintaining WW posture of course. I can't think of any adverse effect as long as I stretch my calve muscles after each time. Is anyone aware of a reason I should not try this? ..............................Marg

That all sounds good to me, Marg. I myself don't have the best balance, and I try to work on that. Meanwhile, I will sometimes do certain moves while holding onto something lightly if I feel my balance going....that's because I'm also trying to stick with and complete the actual move. We all need to work on both. That's what I like about the short clip - emphasizing the balance and foot-arching that we can then take back to our other moves. Good luck! - Surviving

What video are you talking about....a 3 minute exercise to improve balance? Is that part of the Prolapse DVD or are you referring to something on the site? Thanks to both of you.
