Any particular yoga DVD first?

Body:

I've never done yoga before and I would love to try Christine's yoga program - it looks to me like they all focus on different areas of the body, so do I need to purchase all of them and somehow alternate the workouts every couple of days or something like that? Is the "First Wheel" one really first, to be followed by the others, and are they progressively more difficult? Where should I start or do I just spring for all three and sort of bash away randomly? Or the order of doing them this explained somewhere and I'm missing it?

I have ordered the "First Aid for Prolapse" DVD and I read that there are some exercises in there - those I KNOW I will be doing - the yoga would just be additional exercises to work on strength and balance, which I sorely need, actually, prolapse or no prolapse.

Thanks!

Hi Jss

I suggest that you start with the First Wheel, simply because it is the first yoga video that Christine made, and that the first chakra is the base on which we stand. It sets up the support for the rest of our body. It is probably also called the first chakra for a reason.

See what you think after you have done First Aid for Prolapse, which is a mixture of ballet, Irish dancing and yoga. At has two different levels, and is fun. It is worth getting to know one well before moving on to the others. However, if you want to jump straight in and go deeply into firebreathing, then start at the Third Wheel

That's just my opinion.

Those sound like great suggestions - I think I'll wait and explore what's in First Aid for Prolapse as it sounds as though there will be plenty in there to keep me busy at least for a little while. So much new stuff to learn!
