When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

Hi Marg - I suspect it's primarily genetic, with a dose of dietary factors in the mix. This is also my situation, though I'm a few years behind you in my journey toward thinning hair. Suggestions anyone? - surviving

Hi Energeticmarg
You can google 'alopecia'. You can also find a topic about 'hair' and 'menopause' in the Menopause Forum. Use the search box. Changing my shampoo helped. I think the one I was using was aggravating the hair loss. I am now using an inexpensive organic one from the supermarket and it is not falling out so much.
Women often report losing their hair post pregnancy. Apparently our hair doesn't age and fall out as much during pregnancy, so there is a big moult about three months postpartum. I am convinced that there is also a stress factor. I have been through a few stressful periods in my life, when my hair went very thin a few months later. Similarly with finger nails.

Hello energeticmarg / My hair has stopped falling!
My hair has stopped falling by massaging my scalp with a mixture of essence oil of Ylang Ylang and Grape Seed oil for the last year.
For the top area of my head where it was showing that I had lost hair, I use a mix of 5 drops of the essence oil of Ylang Ylang and 10 drops of Grape Seed oil is enough quantity of the mix to spread on the top scalp evenly with my fingertips twice a week and massaging slowly and gently, let it stay on your scalp for at least a half hour and wash your hair with a gentle organic shampoo and conditioner of your choice, let it air dry or towel gently. Try not to brush your hair until you feel it is trong and healthy again. I have not tried myself the mix of essence oil of Rosemary with the Grape Seed oil, but I learned that it also works well.
Good luck to you, it takes time but it is working for me

Another tip
As our connective tissue thins during menopausal transition, figure that our hairs are not held in the follicles so strongly after menopause. If you wash your hair under the shower, chances are that the water is hottest near the shower rose, so that the water is the right temperature on your body. Hot water on the head will make all your pores open, and presumable follicles too. So, when you brush or comb your hair out it is probably easier for the hairs to fall out.
I am not giving my head a cold rinse at the end, to close all the pores and follicles before I brush my hair out, so they will hang on to the hairs more tenaciously!
We will see if it works.

Thank you Louiseds for your tip!
It makes sense! in my situation I was losing my hair without washing it inside the shower, because for years the LS became worst with the shampoo, conditioner or soap and I still keep washing it gently in the sink, with luke warm water with organic shampoo and conditioner. The YlangYlang oil is helping my scalp to hold the hair I have and I hope it keeps doing it, I do not know yet if new hair is starting to grow to replace them, but at least my pillow is not full of hair in the mornings and for me is a good sign.
I looked up your dance in youtube! Congratulations! I will try to follow your example!
Have a good week!

The falling of hair is due to
energeticmarg
The falling of hair is due to hormonal changes. this is very normal. My grandmother is of your age and she uses Remy hair extensions. She has got a blond shade for her. This has added volume to her hair.
