When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

Enzyme
All I know about it is that it is an enzyme which the heart needs and is naturally produced by the body anyway. If you have no trouble with your heart, then you probably don't need it. If you have heart trouble and need to take aspirin, you could take it instead of the aspirin, it is a blood thinner. It does not thin the blood to the extent that aspirin does, but then it does not have all the side effects that aspirin has.
I guess if you can help the heart, you help other body organs but only to that degree. You'd have to check with your doctor whether it was compatible with any others things you are taking and of course your condition.

co Q10
I take it. I think it is a wonderful antioxidant. Dietary co Q10 is always preferred (organ meat, beef, whole grains, salmon). If you take a statin, definitely take this. One of the roles is to help the conversion of food to energy. Sadly, it is SO expensive... probably because it is popular.

More on CoQ10
Fab, I just googled, found info and I quote " For patients who take blood thinners such as warfarin or aspirin, supplementing with CoQ10 can interfere with the medication rendering it ineffective. Coenzyme Q10 will react with warfarin. Similar to vitamin K, Coenzyme Q10 prevents warfarin from thinning blood." So I guess it is not a blood thinner, it will inhibit blood thinners.

Co Q10 and warfarin
It’s paradoxical in that it is a coagulant like vitamin K which is necessary to heal a wound if for example you cut yourself, but also a blood thinner, or better expressed causes similar effects to aspirin (inhibits platelets).
There are a lot of claims made for it (e.g. treatment of diabetes etc) many of which are unproven.
If you are taking warfarin and aspirin and vitamin K, osmari then you really should talk this over with your doctor before you make any changes. My mother was put on warfarin and I was able to take her to a second specialist who found her a suitable alternative.
I don’t see any sense in taking it as an antioxidant if you do not have a medical condition which requires it, when it is manufactured by the body anyway and when antioxidants are readily available in natural foods.
I don’t know any claims made on its behalf which are pertinent to pelvic organ prolapse which is what this site is about and I think spirit3 was specifically inquiring.

Thanks Fab
I am 37 and am not taking anything other then fish oil or flaxseed oil. I take 50 mg of CO Q10 once a day. usually in the morning. I haven't been diagnosed with any serious heart conditions. Thank you for your info. On another unrelated matter and to get back to prolapse. I have a rectal prolapse with rectocele and cystocele. I am not sure what level but definitley can feel both. I have been doing the First Aide for prolapse for a while and have noticed a difference but also am dealing with vaginal air bubbles. I try and be mindful of relaxing lower stomach and breathing deep. It helps with POP but not the air bubbles. Any suggestions?

Dear Spirit3
There has been quite a bit of discussion on air bubbles, try typing air bubbles in the search box at the top of this page and you should be able to access these threads.
Then if you have any further questions come back.

I've been trying l-glutamine
I've been trying l-glutamine powder lately and krill oil pills too. I don't know if it's ibs or what, but I'll get a few days of "bad" poos where it feels like it just won't stop, but it won't really come out that well either (too soft and undigested). I was reading good things about the l-glutamine for ibs and how it helps repair muscle. Worth a try.
