When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

I have the book too but....
I don't believe the book has exercises specific for stress incontinence. I was looking for it but didn't see it so I asked on the forum. She mentioned that there are exercises in her Whole Woman Workout. But I don't have that now. Maybe someone else on the forum who has been doing the WWWorkout can tell us if it has helped reduce stress incontinence.
Refer to a few threads earlier, "Quietly optimistic about kegels...." to read Christine's explanation.

I agree
Although Kegels did not help the prolapse - They helped tremendously with stress incontinence which I had from 1988 to last year - And now that is a much much lesser worry in my life :)
Just remember - do not overdo the Kegels - I did and it made eeeeeeeeverything worse - Now I do 50-60 a day and all is well :)

SUI
Hi Kitty,
Stress incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse are all part of the same continuum. The book contains a beginning exercise program emphasizing contraction of the pelvic floor muscles and a description of the posture. The video/dvd contains a more intensive workout that further intensifies contraction of these muscles, yet in a way that also pushes the organs into their natural positions. Many women have told me how much both of these resources have helped their urinary incontinence. I think Sue has mentioned that she hasn't seen either the book or video. Others can’t let go of the notion that if it’s not kegels done on your back and with a PT then it must not be good for SUI.
Wishing you well,
Christine

excercises in the book and video
Hi
i had a week of incontinance, started the excercises in Christine's book and they went away. I went to a pelvic physio and found the basic kegels hard to master and not as specifically working the area in the variety of ways that Christines excercises do.
I do like another one my osteo gave me - you imagine you're vaginal canal as a tube of toothpaste that you squeese from boottom to top and then when squeesed or rolled up you lift the whole tube towards the bellbutton
it's the last part i really get and that sets it apart for me. It is subtle and you really know what's going on when you lay your palm just below you're bellybutton and feel it tug up under your skin.
This same sensation arises in one of christines poses. The one with the baton where you sit up and onto the front of you're perineum. Strong stuff.(for those who have the video).
That book and the video are really wonderfull. My shelves are full of alternative med. books and her book is amongst my top three favourites.
Best wishes
