When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

Hi Deb
YES! Thanks to Christine, there is. Just start going to back-pages of this forum, and reading different posts. You can spend hours here. And, you will find the help you need. Start with the ones about posture, and start right away practicing the sitting and standing postures. I would then read some posts about the drawbacks of surgery to get an accurate perspective on that topic, since many doctors might discuss surgery as an alternative. You can get all the information you need from these pages, and from asking questions.
Welcome, and may you find all the healing you need.

Taking it all in...
Good evening,
I am very new to this website and I've spent a lot of time reading through pages of forums. It's nice to know that I am not alone. As I mentioned in a previous posting...I just had my third baby 5 weeks ago and started to feel this bulge coming out of me. I never heard of Prolapse until the words were told said to me. Now, I am trying to learn as much as I can about it. I am not even sure what is prolapsed. It seems there are many different types of prolapse. Since I've spent time here, I changed a few things I was doing and found they worked. I've had three days free from my bulge. Today, my husband and I took the baby for a walk and it came back. I've walked my whole life and really enjoy it as part of my excerise routine and for peace of mind. Will this happen everytime to me? Will I have to give walking up? I also enjoy spinning and kick boxing. I was looking forward to getting back to the gym after my 6 week checkup. Now, I am not sure I will be able to. I am experiencing lower back pain (it feels like the pain you would have if you had an UTI.)Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
"Y"

Dear "Y"
This must be very upsetting and disconcerting to you, especially only 5 short weeks after your baby's birth. It causes fear in a lot of us, and it takes time to assimilate it and begin to come to terms with it.
I discovered mine about 10 months post partum after the birth of my 3rd child. With all the hormones going on, I would have been a wreck at 5 weeks post partum!
My personal opinion is that there are a lot of things that you can do to begin to address your situation. Get all the info from this site that you can, and in addition, I would recommend the following:
To help you with the postural work, find a GOOD teacher of the "Alexander Technique", and start doing sessions with him or her. For myself, the Alexander Technique is invaluable in assisting with getting the postural stuff straight.
Find other avenues of healing for yourself. I realize this isn't easy with a 5 week old baby, but do what you can. Personally, I see a doctor of traditional chinese medicine and do accupuncture and herbs. I also am going to see a chiropractor. I may try cranial sacral therapy. There's so much out there that can help!
If it were me, I'd get it checked out, especially the pain. I'm not familiar with having any pain associated with the prolapse.
My guess about the walking is that it will be part of your healing! As for spinning and kickboxing, there are alot of back posts about exercise, although I don't remember one about that. You, ultimately, are going to decide what forms of exercise facilitate your healing, and which don't.
Most of all, take a deep breath, breathe in healing and breathe out fear. The fear is the hard part, I know. But I believe the human female body is strong and can heal.
Just the other day I hiked down and then up a huge cliff to the ocean below. I scaled steep sand walls with my daughter and played in the sand with my little ones. We topped it off with Indian dinner in San Francisco, and I went home exhilirated and realizing that prolapse is not limiting me, at least not all days.
If I had surgery, Id always have to worry about how much to lift; and many surgeries need repeat surgeries. No, I don't want to go there.
Wishing you peace, healing and blessing.

Hi Y,Just wanted to add to
Hi Y,
Just wanted to add to Marie's encouragement that things can get a lot better soon after having a baby so don't despair! I also had post partum prolapse which I don't notice at all now and I am very active. The only thing I still don't do is run but I hope to start again in a few months. Try not to get too down.(I know that's easier said than done!) Adopt the posture and try the other things discussed here and I am sure that you will start to feel better soon!
Take care.
Michelle.
P.S I would probably get the lower back pain checked out just for peace of mind.

Words of encourgement
Marie,
Thanks so much for your words of encourgement. It's nice to know that there are so many women out there that understand. My attitude is getting better each day and I am learning to move on. My healing process will be on going each day learning what I can and cannot do. And, with the help of all here...I will get through this. My son is healthy and that is what matters the most:-)

Thank you!
Michelle,
Great news! I am glad to hear things got better for you. It's wonderful to know that I have options. Before coming here...I felt the only option I had is to schedule an appointment to get surgery. Thanks again:-)
