getting pregnant, being pregnancy, and laboring with prolapse

Body:

found this forum looking for any first hand accounts of getting pregnant again with prolapse.

i am 33 and have 2nd degree uterine prolapse after the birth of my 2nd child. we are trying now for baby number 3, but i am VERY nervous about what happens after i become pregnant....

will the uterus/baby ALWAYS move back up after its large enough to be supported by the cervix? is this process safe for the baby?

until it moves up, is it very uncomfortable? where there things you couldn't do? can i still exersice?

is preterm labor a risk because of the weakened muscles?

any advice from someone who has experienced this would be wonderful. i need some peace with this...

thank you in advance!

I was 33 and pregnant for the 3rd time when I found this site in 2004. Search the archives and read my journey. I found prolapse improved the further pregnancy went along as the baby pulled everything above the pubic bone. I had no problems during pregnancy and labor went so quick and the birth was wonderful (see my birth story at www.wholewoman.com). If I had the energy, I'd have a fourth baby wihtout any fear.

i've heard nothing negative from my doctor as well. but "HE" has never been through that process.

its heartwarming to hear your words first hand. none of my friends have experienced this (of course!) but thank you for sharing some words of wisdom.

how do i search archives. is there a specific title of your "journey?"

sorry, i'm a little green at this. i found the site and posted my question right away...

We're in the queue for the techs to work on the search function...I was hoping it would be Monday...crossing fingers for this week! :-)

If you click on my screen name at the top of the post fullofgrace it will take you to a screen where you can click on a tab that says track. If you then click last page at the bottom of the listing of my posts, you can start at the beginning of my journey (I think). :)
