Vagina heads straight towards my back (ass)! Help!

Body:

Even slightly downwards and that when standing straight in the wholewoman posture. Isn`t this the opposite of what it`s supposed to be like? Nearly 3 months pregnant now.
(Slight uterine prolapse at age 25 after having been a chronic tummy tucker).

Is this the more rare yet normal vagina posture? How does it affect my treatment, mayb I should do Kegels? Wanted to try the "faja" wrap but I really don`t feel it could help with my uterus being back down there.

Mary Jane, I have struggled to come up with a response to this. Unless your vagina has been surgically altered, well, it is what it is, right? I've looked at diagrams showing tampons in place, and it seems to me that they do point to the back. Are you saying yours points downward?

You have a mild uterine prolapse and you are pregnant. Follow good WW posture principles and your vagina will be fine. Maybe you need to clarify your statement some more, and maybe someone here who is more up on anatomy will have an opinion. - Surviving

Yes, the uterus tends to drop backwards rather than forwards once past the pubic bones. Sometimes when you cough it will move more forward and sometimes when you exercise and this seems to be more comfortable. What you want of course is for it to go up and then forward over the pubic bone. That's where the WWposture comes in. A bit hard when you are pregnant, but there were others here before you worrying the same and so look in the search box under pregnant and prolapse for comments.
