When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

Congrats on the healthy baby!
Congrats on the healthy baby! Four months pp is certainly a time when you can feel like you've gone three steps backwards. I definitely felt worse around that time.
Sounds like the firebreathing and nauli are moving the (very moveable) organs around effectively, hence the noises. This should settle down but it might take time. Whilst I don't remember the noisiness happening for me in firebreathing, for months it did happen every time I bent from the hips to stretch my back. It's the body slowly repairing and figuring out where everything fits best. Thanks body.
How are you and baby sleeping? I noticed if I had a bad night my prolapse felt ten times worse and even firebreathing did nothing for me. I just had to ride it out and maintain some faith that it would get better. It does.

Hi,
could it be, that your menstruation comes back? After my 3rd baby I when it came back, everything felt much weaker/ much more bulgy and it still does a few days before, while and after. I only got 5-7 good days per cycle. But I'm still breastfeeding so I'm still hoping, that it will become better.
Best wishes

Hello, thanks for the answers
Hello, thanks for the answers! I don't think my period is coming back. I have had 15 months free after each of the other 3, so this would be very soon for it to come back for me. I did stay up late one evening with my sisters but previously when I had done the same I was fine. I am sure it will feel better again, just trying to figure out what triggers it to behave so bad. The noises happen with nauli, not so much with firebreathing but it can sometimes with that as well!

Hi agnusdei,
Thank you for your question. I sympathise and empathise. It can be de-moralising for symptoms to worsen- especially after an improvement of symptoms. I reckon many women can identify with your experience. I certainly do.
There are all sorts of contributing factors which can cause an increase in symptoms; lack of sleep, stress, lifting, coughing in an upright position, too much alcohol, constipation, pushing to poo whilst sitting on the loo, slouching, not being in posture, for some people not doing the WW practices... and sometimes even then it's a bit of a mystery!
However, whether we understand why our pop has worsened or not, thankfully either way we have the tools, knowledge and resources to improve our symptoms again. Speaking personally, after around 2 years post initial pop, I manage my prolapse successfully and most of the time I'm symptom free. However sometimes my symptoms become significant - and to be honest I do find this rather depressing and unfair! However I can usually, but not always, identify specifically what caused this. Either way, by now I just kind of say 'hey ho, that's just how it is - and back to work we go' (I'm sounding like one of Snow White's little dwarfs!) Basically we don't have much choice - we just have to do this work.
Don't worry about the noises. It's early days and your bodies still in the process of change. It may signify some space in your body. After all your body was stretched greatly during pregnancy and birth, so understandably it takes some time for the space to diminish. It may be this space that's contributing to the noises. It's highly unlikely that this is any cause for concern - apart from a little embarrassing perhaps. However most women practice on their own, so perhaps it's only you hearing these noises. So relax, your bodies making noises - that's ok. The important thing is that you continue with the posture and the practices.
Wishing you all the best, xwholewomanuk
