When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

Granny, women post on this
Granny, women post on this forum virtually every day about how this work has changed their lives. Hopefully by now you have had a chance to browse around the forum, website and blog a bit more. Here is one video to watch for an overview of Christine’s posture work and why surgeries are so damaging:
http://wholewoman.com/newpages/video/ww101.html
Here are a couple of her blog articles that should convince you to stop Kegelling (you’re right, it doesn’t work, if it did I wouldn’t have prolapse and neither would millions of other women!):

I have been here for 4 years, starting the work at age 60, with both cystocele and rectocele. It has been life-changing and life-saving! A bladder prolapse is extremely manageable if you have not had hyst or other repairs. If you have had surgery, you need this knowledge as much as the rest of us, maybe more. - Surviving

Hi, I'm new here also....I noticed a bulge about a month ago. I think it's my bladder and getting on this website has been a God send. I can tell you, I have learned so much about my body and myself. Please listen to what they are telling you here. Surgery is not the answer! I'm 53 and when I found out that it could be my bladder I was devastated!! My Doctor told me about surgery but I was so overwhelmed and scared...... Listening to these women and their words of wisdom has helped me tremendously. Learn as much as you can and watch the DVD's or what ever you can. Christine is so awesome in how she explains things and she does so in such a peaceful quiet way. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found this website! Good luck

Hello Gothic Granny
I was told by my Gyno to have mesh surgery back in early April as I was told I was stage 4 with my problems. I followed my gut feelings and found Christine's site and am very happy to find an alternative to surgery.I do feel the posture and exercises are helping and I am a lot more confident and positive with understanding what's happening with prolapse as well as very determined to help myself. If I didn't find Christine's site I would have had surgery by now.I am very great full for her site. Many thanks to Christine and her work. I have her DVD'S and it is wonderful to have the info to learn from.Keep positive and wish you we'll.

Money
We'll worth it .The cost of my Gyno and surgery and possibly any problems after surgery has no comparison. To just have this knowledge has been a god sent.No doctor or Gyno gave me any alternative to the surgery. When we are finding Christine's site it's spreading the site around to other women who have these problems.I think to it's helps just to know there is this info and takes away some of the fear about prolapse.

Hi Granny,
Hi Granny,
i can understand why you question whether the products are worth the money - they are expensive. I have found some of the DVDs more useful than others, too. I can't comment on the new module system as I'm not purchasing that, mostly because my internet connection is terrible.
To start with, you can glean information about Whole Woman posture from the forums. Essentially, the aim is to keep your belly relaxed, and lift your chest while keeping your shoulders down, not back. The abdomen is pulled up not in, so that the pelvic organs have room to return to the abdominal cavity.
This is the essence of WW. The DVDs and book contain useful exercises to help you develop the posture and strengthen the body. I have had a few aha moments over the last few years through repeatedly doing the exercises.
Only you can decide whether it is worth the money for you personally. I certainly think the First Aid for Prolapse DVD is worth its weight in gold (actually, more than that - it's not very heavy). Some of the other purchases were optional.

I will also add I was a candidate for mesh surgery when I found this site. I chose not to have it and instead went on to have another child. Last year there was a class action lawsuit in this country concerning exactly the type of mesh I would have had because it's gone wrong for many women.

The bundles are a great deal, and the new on-line program is very comprehensive and a good choice if shipping is a problem for you. Nevertheless, it is understandable if you are not in a position to make a big up-front investment. I wasn't either, but I realized right away that I had to get started. If this is the case for you, consider getting the basic First Aid for Prolapse DVD. My initial purchases were the book, the FAFP DVD, and the First Wheel Yoga. Over time I acquired the rest of Christine's collection, and ever single thing is a gem.
There is more than enough information on this website, blog and forum for you to be able to grasp what this work is all about, and to realize that it is the ONLY way to go. Join and actively participate in the forum. Read and read some more. Only you can do this work for yourself. There is no quick fix and there is no way for any of us to know how well this will work for you, because we don't know how much effort you are prepared to make. Only you know that! - Surviving

Wow! Thank you!
I just started reading this a few days ago and decided to join the forum. I can't believe the amount of response you all have sent already. I am convinced that I don't want surgery. It sounds horrible. Every thing I see on the website is very encouraging. I will keep reading. Thank you all.

/ WW Benefits
Dear YogaGranny, dizzydee, Honney, and any other newbies,
- This is a synopsis of my experience...
After so very luckily just "knowing" I didn't want surgery given as the only alternative for pop, like most women experience.
I waited 17+ years, until I found this forum 2 years ago, while suddenly experiencing worsening pop & the start of debilitating hip pain, after about the same amount of time with walking/hip instability.
Just using the posture alone, resolved my hip instability with no more dislocation & crunching pain.
My pop has become almost secondary to my hip health, and has resolved to my original rectocele, the other organs threatening to prolapse tucked back in their place.
The last few months I have been doing the Hips, and the First wheel DVDs, daily as much as possible with healing, great strengthening and stability of my whole body in a short time.
The benefits are far reaching, & long term. I have observed many benefits that I would never have realized if it wasn't for Christine with her tenacity, courage and many years of research, that she has done, and is willing to share with us, much of it on this forum.
Her priceless gift to us.
I had a lovely History teacher once, who used to say " Now, write down this pearl of wisdom.."
Christine's work has more "pearls of wisdom" than I have ever come across in my life, and many of them we get to discover as we do this work, like little gifts along the path of life.
- I am living proof as many others on this forum of the benefits of WWP.
I now feel that I am fully informed and on the right path of my choice, even more now as I have ageing relatives, and how important it is to be healthy and physically strong.
Best Wishes,
In our journey together,

Posture
Hi Aussie Soul Sister, I agree with what you are saying.I am feeling a lot of difference in my body and prolapse and the posture exercises and breathing I find the more I do them the stronger I feel and getting back to doing things I would put off because it would worry me. I am surprised sometimes I am not even thinking about my prolapse. I would love to know how other WW ladies have been getting any better. It is a good journey we are on. Take care.

Soul Sis has reminded us that
Soul Sis has reminded us that prolapse is just one outcome of a lifetime of wrong posture....and probably not even the most significant one. To be fortunate enough to come upon Christine's body of work and NOT do everything possible to incorporate this wisdom into our lives - and to help spread the word - is just unimaginable to me. I too am surrounded by women who have chosen the wrong path in dealing with both prolapse and hip issues - because this information was not available to them or they did not or could not seek other options than those they were steered towards. I am so grateful every day, can't imagine living anywhere but this community. - Surviving

Honney & Hips
Dear Honney,
As babies start to crawl stand and walk, they develop 3 parts of their skeleton, along with their muscles & ligaments, which are the foot arch, lumbar curve and the arched acetabular "roof" of the hips at the same time. The acetabular is the cup shaped cavity at the base of the hipbone into which the ball - shaped head of the femur fits.
As we adopt the social norms of wearing tight clothing, chest breathing, pulling in the stomach, lounging in seats, tucking in the bottom, and straightening the spine, along with walking contrary to WWP - these 3 parts of the body deteriorate at the same time.
Whole Woman Posture is whole body work.
Honney it is great that you have noticed your hips are pain free - I hope this continues as you live in WWPosture.
I have had to add the Hips DVD as I had some hip impingement and because of tight shortened ligaments and muscles, & my iliopsoas ligaments were snapping across the front of my hip like elastic bands. My body is now much more even in shape, & weight bearing ability.
I am also finding that I am using my left hand and arm more quite automatically for lifting and strength related domestic jobs - like lifting a full kettle to pour a hot drink, heavy cooking pots and even vacuuming...
I have found enough "pearls" over the last 2 years for a necklace!!
In our journey together,
Best wishes,
Aussie Soul Sister
