When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

pessary
Do you leave the pessary in for extended periods? Can you ditch it for awhile and just work on WW posture? See if this helps your flareups. - Surviving

Interstitial Cystitis
While I'm 100% in favor of WW posture for prolapse issues and I also agree that the pessary might be causing some extra irritation from rubbing possibly, I'm not sure whether Interstitial Cystitis is connected to WW posture, although if you have prolapse, you should definitely practice the WW posture. I know that it's definitely possible to have Interstitial Cystitis without prolapse, and many women do, just as they can get UTI's without prolapse (I often got UTI's pre and also post prolapse).
How are you currently treating your Interstitial Cystitis? As I understand it, this kind of condition is chronic and one can only treat the symptoms as there is no actual ''cure''.

Oh! I have a series of different approaches that may work. I have been taking Lyrica for several years and it has helped tremendously. I use a tens machine in the pubic area to numb the nerve endings ( does wonders) and I have used instillation of hyluronic acid. The combination of all three has decreased my flare ups tremendously.

Sorry! I forgot to say thank you for the feedback. The pessary does cause tremendous irritation and I am unable to use it.

Angelica, do you practice Whole Woman posture? Every woman should. I see you've been a member for years so I was just wondering. - Surviving

I am in my seventies and trying to wean myself of a pessary in use for less than a year. WWposture and WW exercises are inproving my condition. I use honey and cider vinegar and that seems to help. Tell me something about Lyrica and tens machine plus hyaluronic acid. Thank you.

Angelica has not commented on the Forum since she talked about these treatments. I don't know anything about them, and it isn't clear to me what she was using them for. I suggest Google if you're curious. - Surviving
