replens

Body:

Hi everyone,
I was hoping to get some advice. I started using Replens about a month ago because I saw the commercial and it look as if it was worth a try. I really did not need any lubricant but I figured more was better. I used it for about one month about 3times and the third time I used Replens it burned so bad I had to run to the bathroom, try to push it all out and then jump in the shower. I never used it again. the problem now, seems to be when I am intimate with my husband and he ejaculates, the burning sensation returns, as if I used the Replens. At first the burning was not bad but it seems to get worse each time I am intimate with my husband. I am not sure what to do? Before I started using Replens, my intimacy was great. Now I worry about the end results because of the horrible burning. I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me?

Try a bit of raw, unprocessed local honey. Place a dab high up in the vagina once or twice a day. This will restore the normal healthy environment of the vulva and vagina. Lots of posts on here about Christine's honey treatment. Not to mention, problems with Replens. Isn't that the product that contains ingredients that are banned for veterinary use? Or am I thinking of something else Christine has written about? Anyway, glad you have stopped. Coconut oil is also very soothing. Hope you feel better! - Surviving

Honey, of course!!! Surviving, thank you so much for your response. I can not believe I did not even think of honey? I did a research paper on honey as a natural alternative to wound care. This MANUKA honey heals everything. I tell everyone about the great properties of honey and how it heals the body inside/out. I guess I was just so upset about my current problem that I lost track of my own knowledge. Plus I am also out of MANUKA honey, and have not had time to get. My husband and I take a spoonful a day and also use it on everything.
I thank you again

Great article, surviving. Thanks for bringing it up for us to read.
I just wanted to add that you don't absolutely need the manuka honey. I priced it and it is very expensive. Raw local honey is really all you need. Just for others who are reading this thread also.

I never thought of honey!!! I have some Manuka honey here I use for sore throats and sort of thing, it was really expensive, twenty five dollars for a 4 ounce jar, but we use raw honey daily, I love honey, I think it would be great for any vaginal or rectal irritation, or any skin for that matter, Thanks so much for the reminder! I hope it helps you concerned 45,

Trimo San is the stuff which contains ingredients banned for veterinary use- I called Milex on this matter and they said they know nothing of it- I got info from Costco where I had bought it and it was unclear however it is no longer available at Costco== I did quit using it- have tried honey but have found it messy

The benefits of honey far exceed the initial messiness you may experience at the beginning. Experiment! It does not remain sticky once it's up there. - Surviving

When I used the honey for some initial burning I was having, I didn't find it messy at all. Just a dab on the tip of your finger is all you need inserted up high in the vagina. And, I noticed almost immediate relief.
