When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

It sounds like she still has her uterus, since she hasn't said anything to the contrary. I suspect that if she does develop a prolapse, she will most likely be off to the surgeon again, and maybe won't announce it to the press this time.....
But I can't really comment on what she did and why. It's a complicated thing. I wish her the best. - Surviving

Yeah I'm not interested in
Yeah I'm not interested in the hows or whys of her decision, just wondering how the removal of the ovaries and fallopian tubes will affect overall uterine support, if at all. I was looking at diagrams of uterine ligaments and there are ligaments reaching out from uterus towards the tubes and ovaries... What do they do with these? Are they also cut out in the process and doesn't that reduce support.

ovaries and fallopian tubes removed
Hi, I'm new here and also had my ovaries and fallopian tubes removed because a tumor. I still have my uterus but I have a cystocele stage four, I'm 71 years old and I'm already doing the whole woman program mostly posture and the fire breathing. I wonder if this is going to be helpful for me in my condition, thank you for your insight.

Hi Dysa and welcome to WW.
Hi Dysa and welcome to WW. Yes, a cystocele is normally quite responsive to the Whole Woman work, regardless of "grade" (which is really just a snapshot in time, because once you start this work, you will see that the organs are constantly moving around). You have had surgery, though, which of course changes the dynamics of the pelvis. I can't say what impact it will have. But many of us here do have other factors adding to the challenge, so, just immerse yourself in the posture work and see how much better you feel! Good luck - Surviving

Thank you Surviving60, I'm
Thank you Surviving60, I'm ready. I have been without a pessary for about 2 months due to constant infections and bleeding. I'm praying that I will improve naturally with WW. I guess when you don't have the ovaries your vagina is super dry, honey give me a little irritation so I'm using coconut oil and Luvena when I'm extremely dry and I bleed. The bleeding is definite from dryness and the everyday movements of the body. I have the gyn checked and everything looks ok. Grateful for your support.

Christine talks about her use
Christine talks about her use of honey in this thread:

And this one:

My mom is in her 70s now, and after using estrogen cream for 10 years for vaginal dryness, she started using the honey instead. She has been having great results with it.

dryness
Dysa - I just wanted to clarify that the bladder is not dry. A cystocele is the bladder bulging through the vaginal wall, and it is the vaginal tissue that can become dry post-menopause. I know you didn't mean it the way it came out, but sometimes women who are newly prolapsed come to this forum very confused about what exactly is going on down there, and we don't want to add to their confusion. - Surviving

Agree - Based on her research
Agree - Based on her research and personal experience, I think we all should be considering the honey applications. I personally don't use it now, because somehow I dodged the bullet of post-meno dryness. But her message is clear and I think it's time, now I just have to locate the good stuff. - Surviving

honey applications
Hi Surviving60,
Thank you for the correction of vaginal dryness, and for that message that is so clear. I have a question for you: I used honey (raw commercial organic honey), about 4 times and it irritated my vaginal area and
I felt pain during the night. I'm afraid to use it again. Do you have any suggestion for me, thank you. -Dysa

Polypropylene glycol
Hi Aging gracefully,
Great article, thank you! Checking my Luvena box I didn't find the Polyproplylene glycol as the third ingredient unless it is hidden in the PEG-150? When I bleed from my prolapse my doctor recommends Luvena and the pessary when is bulge out which is usually the size of an orange, no exaggeration here. I just will like to be inform about the risk of this third ingredient in Luvena, thanks. Dysa

Honey
Hi Dysa,
I couldn't really tell you what is in Luvena, I have never researched it or used the product. Maybe someone else has and will come on and talk about it.
You said you were having pain using the honey? Not sure what that's all about. I don't know if it is the type of honey you were using, commercial grade doesn't sound right to me. Local honey may have a different affect, if you can find some in your area.
Christine is really our honey expert around here, she may know why you would be having those particular symptoms from using it. My mom has been using it with no adverse affects and says it's really doing the trick for her. I used it early on in my prolapse when I was having some burning issues. It did have a slight stinging feeling at first that went away. Christine said that was to be expected. It really helped me too, so not quite sure what is going on with your situation.
Wish I had more information for you.

WW assistants identification
Hi Aging gracefully & Surviving60
I think that ladies like you supporting WW should have an identification so other people like me don't get information that is not what Christine had taught us. I was very disappointed with some information I got a few days ago about support for my prolapse which it is contrary to what WW teaches us. If WW assistants have some kind of identification we will know that the info we are receiving is trustworthy and will help us to achieve our goal. Thank you for the wonderful work you do for us. Dysa

Not to worry
Dysa, we will always jump in there to identify when members are posting "advice" that isn't helpful. This is an open forum, but it also has a mission to keep the discussion focused on the WW work. We have to get a few members mad at us from time to time, but we don't care, we have a higher purpose and we take it quite seriously. Besides moderators, we also have many regulars at all stages of this work who give fantastic insights to other members who are just starting out. Don't worry, we won't let you or anyone else get steered off this course......the first steps of this journey are just too important! - Surviving
