When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

Hi seashore,
Hi seashore,
Hideaway is a support garment, along with V2 supporter, fembrace, and any variety of homemade support garment that some women with the more extreme prolapses like to use. If you feel you might need a little extra support some of the time, then by all means use one, but please don't become too reliant on these kinds of quick fix devices, they only mask symptoms, where the actual whole woman work helps relieve those symptoms. I actually use one on my long walks, mostly just for the feeling of security now.
This work isn't something that is going to reveal itself right away, it does take time and patience, really throwing yourself into it. I am living proof of that work, and I feel very strongly about it. I am not some advertising gimmick. I think some people just give up too easily, and that is the real shame here. Initially this work was foreign and seemed difficult to me, but I just gave into it. So glad I did!

It is called hideaway
It is called hideaway prolapse support garment. If you google it or put it in your browser, you will see it. It definitely helped give support. Sounds like you are a cyclist too! I love riding and have done half centuries, etc. As mentioned before, my sister in law had the same surgery as I did and she was happy to have done it. For me personally it is the best thing to do and I was scared to death. I was more worried about the anesthesia part than the actual surgery. I had never had a surgery before. My surgeon was the best. I guess I was fortunate. There is a way it has to be done to be done correctly. My prolapse was out an inch or more and it was very annoying to me personally. Sounds like we are the same age. I wish you all the best!

I just want to reinforce that
I just want to reinforce that this is not a pro surgery or a support garment site. If you read the Introduction to this forum, you will find that it was set up for women interested in discussing Christine's methods for prolapse management. This site was set up with whole woman as the main focus.
Susie, I am beginning to get the feeling that you are here to advertise hideaway, not to really help anyone. You seem to keep trying to take the focus and importance of this site away from Whole Woman with your continuous advertising. Time to give it a rest.

Please pay special attention to items #2 and #4. We will be monitoring your posts to see if they are consistent with the purpose of this forum (education and support for women who are interested in the Whole Woman work) and to ensure that you are not here to promote a product. There are other sites where you can trade stories about surgery. For our members, that is the last thing we want for them. Please understand. - Surviving

Not here to promote a product
I found this garment on my own, same as the V Strap that I actually learned about from this site....I did not mean to cause any vibes. I think we all need as much help as we can get. Sorry.

Not the kind of help you are
Not the kind of help you are giving right now, Susie. You keep talking about your surgery or support garments, distracting from what this site is about. Whole Woman is what this site is about, and the forum supports the site.
Please do give it a rest. You have made yourself abundantly clear. We need to focus on helping women avoid surgery, and you are not helping at all. As surviving has said, there are other sites and forums that would love to talk to you about surgery. This is not that place.

This is great news, Seashore, and I want to tell you something that will save you some trouble next time you are having a bad prolapse day:
Your gyn cannot do anything to help your prolapse! There is nothing more or better that you can do for your prolapse than the Whole Woman work. Doctors have NOTHING good to offer for this condition. The sooner you can understand this, and end the practice of running off to the doctor when you are feeling discouraged, the sooner you will start to see results. So please continue to have faith in this work and in your body's ability to be retrained and remolded. Because, you can do it, just like so many here already have. - Surviving

Thankyou both again so much.
Thankyou both again so much..I am sure I will need you over and over again. Because I am insecure, but determent as well. The problem really is... that it worsened so much, since I started with this WWork. 2 month ago I only had a bladder prolaps, now I have all three. severe. But surgery is actualy no option. Although, My daughter, who is a pedeatrition recommends it . She and I difference in the medical area.
She is a doctor of heart and soul. That s why she trust all doctors. But she respects my choice.
So I will need help and encouragement.
Luckely, today I receive the email from the other woman in Holland so I could send her a message. But if you are ok with it i will continue to contact you as well....
Do you remember what your first improvement was..
because after doing the workout (DVD) I have to lie down before leaving the house to get it a bit in place. But I assume, this is the hardest time, prolapse at its worsed and not mastering the WW yet...
But i will be optimnistic.. as you are...

Hi seashore,
Hi seashore,
First of all, please remember that this is a process that does take time, months up to a year for many of us to really get the posture down and start seeing results. You should be more focused on learning to hold your posture throughout your day, doing your exercises in posture the best you can hold it, whole woman walking is fabulous to really work on the principles of posture as you walk, focus on your breathing, really breathing deeply into your belly and then letting it relax back.
Develop a routine that works for you and just keep doing it, that's when you will see results. Slowly at first, but they will come.
Can you tell us what posture means to you?
And, do you know how to firebreath? Done throughout the day, this can be very affective in getting everything to move in the right direction.
Most of all, be patient with this work, it does happen, you just have to put the time into it.

Here is what concerns me: Walking and exercising in correct Whole Woman posture should not be making you feel worse to the point where you have to rest up afterwards. When things "clicked" for me was the day I realized that the longer I walked in posture, the better my prolapse felt. I just can't shake the feeling that there is something that needs adjusting in your posture. Belly is soft, chest is pulled up? Can you visualize those organs in the belly? Do you understand what Christine means when she says we are horizontal creatures from the hips down, and vertical from the waist up? - Surviving
PS: Weren't you and your Dutch friend(s) going to be working with a practitioner?

Dear AG, thank you againfor
Dear AG, thank you againfor your comment. Aftyer reading i went outside to see how i was doing while walking in Posture. And I discovered that the problem lies in the breathing. The posture is ok, I guess. Because I do think about this mythological horse figure in the book. But the breathing is not ok. I noticed i am afraid of relaxing my belly and breathing at the same time. It feel like I will loose al my pelvic organs that way. So i hold my belly . I am just afraid. The bladderprolaps stage 3 and uturus 2 is always to feel. When I lay back I can imagine /visualise the organs to set in the right place, but while walking I just discovered, not at all. So there is one problem to work on.

Dear Surviving, I put my comment to AG but it was at the same time for you, sorry about that. Because I did go out to investigate your comment on the walking in posture. An I do understand the horizontal and vertical. But it is about the breathing. And the fear. As I mentioned before, I find myself much more sitting or laying on the couch then ever before in my life. I am afraid. Maybe having an off day today. i cannot imagine that a polapse this worse ( 1 inch) And the 2 other prolapses, can be managed. but you are telling me so, and the book, so I do have to trust. And I will..... it is very nice to share in my own language with Happy body. But my problem is much severe. There were no other responses to my call for dutch women. Just her and me. Thats fine. But not enough to ask the practioner from the Uk to come to the Netherlands. But I probably will call her, some day.

A consultation may be good
A consultation may be good for you to get a handle on and better understanding of this work.
Believe me, I do understand your fear. I also have severe prolapse, and in the beginning, I just stopped doing everything. I wouldn't even walk around the block, when I used to walk for miles! I was afraid to carry a laundry basket up and down the stairs!
But, there has to come a time when you just get over that fear, even the breathing. Try getting down on knees and forearms, and practice your deep breathing there. You can really feel your organs pulling onto your lower belly. Breath deeply into your belly letting it expand out, and then letting it fall back on its own. Do this several times a day. Then work on doing it in sitting and standing positions. When you are comfortable letting your belly relax, start taking those walks again, really relaxing and breathing into your belly as you work on all of those other posture principles.
A Skype with a practitioner can help you know if you are holding the posture correctly. That may be your next step.

Thank you, that is really
Thank you, that is really helpfull. I will try to breath on the position you mentioned. I troed before and jiggletht way. but now I will try just to breath and it would be wonderful if I could feel the organs moving in the right direction. Oh that would be so encouraging.
I cried a lot today , being very symptomatic, but I also started to study the book again, line by line , a dictionairy at hand.
I will continue......
my vagina is packed, and protusioned (?) . I feel like climbing a rocky very high mountain not certain if i will get enough air along the way....

This I can do, with no bad results. And of course the posture, sitting, walking standing, and fire breathing (incl nauli). Hopefull again. Thank you!!!

I'm late to this conversation and I guess it's not really my business but I couldn't help feeling you're being unfair to Susie229 regarding her comments. She didn't say she was trying to "help" other people with her comments, maybe she wanted some understanding and encouragement herself. I've felt encouraged reading other people's comments and always felt better after reading them. But I would not feel better if I were being criticized for what I say on here. Just sayin'.

Seriously mumzie? By
Seriously mumzie? By suggesting surgery and advertising support garments? However well-intentioned or nicely some advice is given, that doesn't mean that it is good advice or falls in line with the whole woman philosophy. And, you may not have read it that way, but she was giving advice here. She talked about how happy she was with the surgery, and then went on to advertise support garments.
Readers need to be aware of the detriments of surgery, not encouraged to have it, especially on this site.

This forum is not an open
This forum is not an open forum in the usual sense. It exists for the purpose of helping women who are interested in the Whole Woman work, or who are already actively engaged in it. Mumzie, I'm not sure where you fall in that category, but if you read through this thread, you will see where AG was coming from. We get a bit tired of having to defend ourselves for keeping this forum on track. Anyone who comes here to brag about her wonderful hysterectomy, is not helping others to keep their uterus and manage their prolapse naturally and safely. Susie was clearly not looking for help and encouragement herself. She hasn't checked in to update us, and yes, you are a bit late to jump into this conversation. - Surviving
