When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

Hips & pop exercises
Hi shore,
I'm sorry to hear you've felt distressed & glad you felt able to ask for help here. I am not a doctor so cannot give expert advice. However as you are unable at the moment to go to a doctor, I will share my thoughts: I do not know how long you've had thin faeces or some discomfort for a little while after bowel movements, If it is short term it is probably not a problem or significant. My alarm bells are not ringing, but I would be interested to hear if anyone else has further knowledge or thoughts…?
However straining on the loo at all is a problem. Please stop doing that immediately and from now on. This could well encourage pelvic organ prolapse or other problems sometime in the future. If you have to strain whilst going to the toilet, then do so whilst you are leaning forward and taking your weight with your legs and feet. That way if you strain the pressure goes forwards towards your belly rather than your pelvic floor/wall. The WW approach advises that you go to the loo in this position every time.
I'm not sure why you are trying to eliminate for so long either, if you do not have constipation. If you find you do not need to go after all, then just leave it until you do:) Waiting & straining to go to the loo is not advisable. Let nature take its course in its own time.
It doesn't sound like you have IBS. I think you would have more symptoms if you did, (blood/mucous etc).
I think the pressure you feel whilst you urinate will go if you a) relax & b) go to the loo in the position described above.
Have a look at your diet. That may be contributing to some of your stool shape &/or discomfort. Eat healthily; if possible home cooked/made local organic fresh food, reduce/eliminate processed food, reduce/don't have tea, coffee, alcohol, drugs, sleep well, live in WW posture (see you tubes)…
It may be helpful to make a note of your symptoms to see if it's long term or short term. However do bear in mind that it's also easy to get a bit too involved with symptoms & be over sensitive to small changes. (Probably most of us on this site have been there!!) Be aware that sometimes the body can naturally go through some strange feelings or phases, which are not alarming, but just the body changing or coping with something we may not even be aware of.
Being as happy as possible is an important part of the WW work. Happiness promotes good health & well being. I sign up for a regular newsletter by Rick Hanson; a neuropsyhcologist who has specialised in the science & practice of happiness. I find it really helpful. Try his JOT; just one thing.
Wishing you all the best,
Love & hugs,

At ease
Hi
I have seen that thin stool in my son before. He was about 4 years at the time. I was playing around with his diet to help something. He is definitely fine no prolapse and no cancer. Just a thought, I realise this can be scary. Have you tried some of the food threads on here and changing things a bit no processed food and seeing what happens. As always, we are not doctors but no harm done by keeping a food and stool diary.
Good luck.

building muscle
Hi, I was just wondering which DVD would be best for building muscle. I've always did exercises at home from a DVD but they always had sit ups and planks which I know are not suitable now. I havn't done these for a few years now and have become very flabby. I do have the first aid for prolapse DVD and do use it now and again. I just feel like it's not enough for me. I also have high blood pressure now and all medication for this seems to constipate me. Does anyone know a high blood pressure med that doesn't constipate? Doctors don't seem to care about this side effect but it's very important to me not to get constipated with my rectocele.

The comments about the way you sit in the loo and diet are super important. Please let us know if you have followed them. It has been almost a month since you told us about your problem. have your problems been reduced.
Also, I think the sitting in the loo for such an extended time is something left over from your childhood that you should probably throw away.
all the best of luck and Please let us know your progress!
