When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

I have used the yam cream
I have used the yam cream before, but not for vaginal moisture. I was using it because it is suppose to have a progesterone kind of affect that offsets symptoms of estrogen overload. I used it for quite awhile and don't think it really worked for the problems I was having.
Some women have tried the red clover balm vaginally as well as other things, but I think the use of honey has been the most popular remedy so far.

Yam Cream - I copied the link with the least info
Aging gracefully -- thank you for your reply!!
I copied in the link that had the least info (duh, I had too many tabs open!).
It has 4-5 star reviews on more than one website. Numerous comments that it is healing, soothing and working for vaginal dryness.

[I used it years ago and I liked it .... I think I had a mind shift from working "on me" to training my dog; and I forgot about it. .... not the best idea ..... I should keep working on me ..... and now my BP has brought that to my attention in a not subtle way.]

Red Clover Balm
Thank you, Aging Gracefully!
I have been studying here a heap. And doing reading at other places (I've let my other interests slide...trying to get a handle on my new state of being.)
I read on a prominent woman herbalists site (and I've been receiving her newsletter for years). I will have to go back and re-read -- but she said something to the effect that women without ovaries should not be drinking red clover tea. I'll have to check, not sure if she said anything about red clover salve.
Not sure why?
I've started with the honey. First time, it hurt some ... but I may not have been gentle enough??
Tried again and the last 2 days, I have mixed honey with coconut oil ... felt better.
** I'm looking forward to Christine's new DVD in the pipeline. Wondering if she'll do a First Aid for Prolapse DVD for uterus-less woman, too. Fingers crossed **

AG - I'll let everybody know when I get a new jar. :)
I'm going to see if I can locate the Vital V, locally. Then, If not, I might order it online. I hate doing online shopping. Got some scares in the past (but I have a good company that sends out fraud alerts.) I still like shopping the old-fashioned way, though.
Thanks so much!

You are a hoot, back in time.
You are a hoot, back in time. I love your quick whit and your posts. My mom actually bought the red clover balm. She still has one ovary left, but I haven't heard of that correlation with not having ovaries and the red clover, so wouldn't know.
She said the balm was expensive and only a small jar. She used it, but said it wasn't as affective as the honey. She only has to use the honey a couple times a week. That seems to work for her.

When you create a new topic, you select the appropriate "forum". If you do not select anything, the default entry is "long-standing member success stories". As you see, I have moved your topic. This happens all the time. Many members don't even notice where this selection gets made (it doesn't exactly jump out at you from the page!). - Surviving

dryness of the prolapsed part developing a scab and bleeding
I live in the mountain desert in the middle of Mexico. It is EXTREMELY dry here especially this time of year. I find that my prolapse is so so dry that it gets chaffed and sometimes will bleed a very small amount like it is a scab that has rubbed off. So I have tried sesame oil which helps and St. John's Wort oil (organic), and coconut oil. Not sure which works best... actually just staying off my feet. Any one had any experience with this bleeding?

Hi, Norab!
Hello.
I'm a newbie here, so I don't have much experience/wisdom.
But my thoughts are ..... go up to the top of the page and type prolapse bleeding, or bleeding prolapse, or perhaps spotting. Lots of posts discussing those matters will be listed. Then you can read and study, until one of the WW experts is able to respond.
I've read posts by other WW members, that they use vitamin E or olive oil; coconut oil, etc.
Some where there was mention of Yes cream/salve that is available (contains natural ingredients). It is a lubricator. I saw a WW post about it, thenI jumped on the Internet and did some searching and read reviews and there are comments about women who use it for dryness/prolapse/that disease that starts with an "l" that I've read about here Lichus ______ ??? or something like that. [I need help with correct info on that condition]
The Yes product got a lot of good reviews (might be pricey). Created by two women (yay!!)
I bet where you live is beautiful! Glad to meet you!!

Don't forget the honey and
Don't forget the honey and whole woman practices in that list! Christine has helped so many of us even with a severe prolapse that honey can keep the best environment in our vaginas when dryness is an issue, and is very healing.
And, trying to keep our bulges inside the vagina as much as possible is a big plus with the whole woman work.
For additional information you may want to take a look at Christine's Vaginal Vulva Health DVD.

Vulva sensitivity
Does anyone feel more sensitive on just one side of vulva than the other ? I sometimes feel moisture run down one side which causes itching and also down that same side of the prolapse which seems even more sensitive .

Honey
Hi S60 Had been using the honey but then got follictulitis . Came off honey for a while then retuned to it but again got the folliculitis . I then gave it a few weeks to make sure it had cleared up altogether but when I again tried the honey I started to itch so stopped it before the spots came . Now I'm thinking maybe I should try a different honey as it could have had something in it that I'm allergic to ?

Pauline,
Pauline,
Are you using raw local honey from the area you live in? Commercial honey from the grocery store is not actually honey at all, but corn syrup. Check with you local health food store, because most of them have something from the immediate area you live in.

Honey
Well it is actually Lincolnshire honey that I am using which is actually the county in the uk which I live in so a little confused . All I can think is that there is something in it that disagrees with me . It's not from a supermarket but from an outdoor food market that comes to the town now and again . I think I need to try another type before I give up on it .

That would be a shame. You
That would be a shame. You could try the manuka honey, but it is quite expensive. Some ladies give it high praises though.

I found this interesting
I found this interesting article on manuka honey:
http://draxe.com/manuka-honey-benefits-uses/
I just want to add in here that not everyone would necessarily have to use expensive honey when raw local honey really does the trick. It could also be an allergy to honey, or more to the point, an allergy to bees that might be the situation too. Just something to consider and research.
