Please help me...I feel I have no-one

Body:

Thanks anybody and everybody for listening. I decided to do a little more research today and stumbled upon what looks like it can be my miracle. I am scheduled for surgery in a couple of weeks, and am scared to death. I have put it off for 3 years and it just gets worse. If I can change this with posture and exercises I would be SOOOOO Happy. It sounds like I have been mislead by Doctors. I have numerous other conditions and no treatment for anything. I don't even feel alive anymore because I feel hopeless. Can someone give me some direction as to where do I start. I am reading about posture and exercises but I don't see where there are any directions to do any.
Thanks to all

Hi Catrina and welcome. What type(s) of prolapse do you have, and, have you had any other repair surgeries and/or hysterectomy? We could really use a little more information in order to point you in the right direction. Please postpone the surgery until you have had a look at the Whole Woman work. What procedure are you scheduled for? There is no surgical cure for prolapse, and the failure rate is quite high; but what we offer here is a solution that allows you to get on with life. There are thousands of us here who thank Christine every day for what we have learned here. - Surviving

Surviving 60 and all the info here and on Christines dvds has saved me from having any operations . Everything Surviving says to u is true and I am sure u will find help here when u provide more info on your position medically. Have u read the Home page ,it is full of info. After that ,if u click,Resources and on next page click Videos u will find more info on mini videos. There is so much help here pkease do not rush into surgery as in many cases it seems ops cannot be reversed so take your time! I wish u success and happiness. :))

Hi Surviving 60. I have had no surgeries or repairs. I was told I was not a good candidate for a pessary because of a total prolapse. It was suggested that I loose about 40 pounds, because it would take a lot of weight off the organs. I am having issues however, trying to loose the weight. I have fibromyalgia, and herniated discs. This alone makes it very hard to get any sort of exercise. Then when your organs are hanging out anyway, ( sorry to be so blunt but it is the truth ) the longer I am on my feet, the worse that problem is. I am calling today to cancel surgery for mesh. I am so interested in learning the correct posture and excercises.
Thanks very much

Hi catrina,
First, give a good read around this site about Christine's work. There is tons of material that will help familiarize you with what this work is all about, maintaining the correct posture that will help move your organs into the lower belly where they belong. Next, go to the whole woman store where you will find many products that will help you on your journey with whole woman.
The best start is the Saving the Whole Woman book and the First Aid For Prolapse DVD, but there are also bundles and online courses.
Have a good look around.

Catrina - the notion that excess weight aggravates prolapse is just another of many fallacies we hear all the time. In correct posture, with the organs held forward against the lower abdominal wall, a bit of extra weight-loading can actually help. I kid you not. You've done step 1 (cancelling the mesh) - you're off to a great start. We are here for you! - Surviving

Thank you both so very much for your encouraging words and help. I am now on a mission to come up with enough money to purchase the dvd and the book. I cannot wait to get started. I am excited to get this under control.

Check out the HERS foundation website and Nora Coffey. I bought her book THE H Word when a misguided doctor suggested hysterectomy for my fibroids. I was promised it would make me feel better. What a bunch of baloney! I receive more support and real information here. I'm 59 and have a cystocele, recotocel, fibroids and recurrent uti. You won't regret. Login to this forum.
