When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

There is much discussion here on the forum about the post menopausal vagina and the effects of waning estrogen levels causing the thinning and dryness of the vaginal walls. The best solution has been suggested by Christine herself, and that is the use of honey. Just put a small dab of raw local honey on your finger and insert it high up into your vagina twice a day.
Since you were on the antibiotics, the natural lactobaccilli of the vagina have probably been diminished to a great degree. The honey feeds these helpful bacteria which in turn creates a nice environment in your vagina. Ditch the estrogen cream, that stuff is so bad for us!
Regarding the UTIs, you really need to be working on the complete emptying of your bladder.
You can find much of this information in Christine's work, so have a good look around, this a great place to get started on your journey with whole woman.

I have read Saving the Whole Woman. While I am not dealing with prolapse, I found the information outstanding. The estrogen cream was not something I wanted to use. I shall use the honey. Hopefully, it shall help with the discomfort. Some days it makes me feel so miserable. Does it take long to feel the effects of using honey?

It probably depends on the individual using it. I know when I used the honey for some vaginal burning I was experiencing early on with prolapse, it relieved my symptoms almost immediately, but do give it some time to take affect if you don't experience immediate relief and make sure you use it daily. You can also use the coconut or olive oil to help keeps things lubricated in the meantime.

Complete uterine prolapse and discharge
I have a large bulge showing and I can see the cervix. It looks swollen and inflamed. I also have a discharge and a little occasional bleeding. I am 68. I have been practicing the posture but have not done exercises yet. I am hearing about honey. I haven't seen anyone mention anything about discharge. Do I put honey on the cervix and then carefully push everything back in? Thanks.

Hi jstellwagen - with a uterine prolapse you need to work on gradually getting the cervix to stay inside, and this is a process that takes time and effort. But I think it will help enable the tissues to be less irritated. If you get down on hands and knees, you can feel the organs settle into the lower belly, and this is the dynamic that WW posture can help you achieve when upright. Regular firebreathing is an absolute must. Aging Gracefully has written lots of good posts about jiggling and even giving the uterus a bit of a nudge prior to firebreathing to get it into position for the FB to do the most good. - Surviving

You may also be experiencing vaginal dryness which the honey does help with, but you may want to to rub some coconut or olive oil in there before you give it a shove. I haven't been gentle with the shoving, but then I also don't have vaginal dryness either. Don't expect it to just stay in with shoving though. It takes time and effort with this work to get it to stay in more. That means posture all the time, and especially daily jiggling and firebreathing.
Also looking into some of Christine's materials would be a great benefit. I don't know what you are physically capable of doing, but starting this work, even gently, can be a great benefit.

Thank you for your reply. I love your name. I will try coconut oil and honey. I have to lay down to push it in and it doesn't stay in once I get up. I purchased a WW bundle in 2007. Sadly, I did not follow through. I tried to do the posture but didn't keep it up. At the time I had a very stressful office job. I am now retired on social security. I wish I would have done differently, but I can only go forward now.
The bundle consisted of Saving the Whole Woman Book with Audio CD 2nd edition, First Aid for Prolapse copyright 2007, Diet for the Whole Woman manual, and the baton. I am thinking I need the exercise one for the elderly because I am so far out of shape and I can't get up off the floor very easily. Is there any updated information in the book that is critical? Thanks so much.

Hi Surviving. Thanks for the response. I'm not sure how to do the jiggling. I read one post abut bouncing up and down. I guess I need to search and look for the procedure. I know I can do this once I figure out how to do it! Right now this is my priority. Thank you.

Jiggling is simply bending over touching the floor, chair, stair, back of tub, and just doing some simple or more aggressive bouncing or movement. It really is up to the individual how they want to do it, just so it gets the pelvic organs moving into the lower belly. I have found that with my severely prolapsed uterus that I needed to do a fair amount of bouncing and even jumping.
Its never too late to start again, and the book hasn't changed, but if you are having trouble with some of the exercises, the elders DVD would be a good start.
