Photo Gallery

Body:

Hi All,

As you may have noticed, we have a new photo gallery for pictures of our dear friends here at wholewoman.com. You will see the link under the forum link on the home page. I've shared some pictures already, but we are still working on how best to have members send theirs to be posted. It may take us a day or two more to sort through it. In the meantime, dig out a photo - or several - to share with us!

:-) Christine

Christine. Idea. I have pic's of my cele's couldn't see it properly without a camera at one stage.

Would this be usefull for pple or a case of "too much informaion" as north american's say :)

I just remembered at the beginning being able to find hardly any photo's on line at all (and this was just last year), for me it was just another source of comprehending the difference;s between the 'cele's ets.. and it filled in some blanks.

anyway's just a thought

I cannot get into the photo gallery. My username and password do not work. Is this a temporary technical problem or does the gallery require a separate ID/pw. I was in there a couple of days ago, but back then it did not even ask for a log in....

Thx, Grace

We're still working on this and I need to know what the membership wants here. Initially I planned to have the photo gallery be for sharing pictures of us and our dogs and quilts and whatever else we want to share - with clothes on! :-) I kinda thought the self-exam might be enough in the prolapse department. Prolapse really is pretty simple and there are only varying degrees of the problem. I tried to find photos that show significant prolapse so women could use their conceptual abilities to relate to lesser or greater degrees. If you want to share more pictures we could do that, but it would need to be another image gallery and locked. We are also working on making the regular photo gallery password protected so hopefully more women will show their beaming faces!! C.

I think it would be really cool to look at more photos of prolapse. I loved the self-exam photos-but they were in black and white and color would be great. also if you do go forward with the photos it would be good to have a standard for positon etc- I think the self exam photos were lying down? anyway I don't know if it would be good to lock the photo's or not? when I first found out i had prolapse I went looking for photos and it was very hard to find any that wern't very severe. plus it would be encouraging to see the ups and downs- I know my prolapse moves in and out alot during the day. just some thoughts.B

I don't see the link to the photo gallery
the home page looks the same as it always did

its probably right in front of my nose, but I can't find it

Just hold your cursor over the forum link on the homepage and the gallery link will show up. :-)

I personally agree with Christine that any photos of prolapse should be locked. Anyone who wants to see them can join. This makes it less "sensational" I think. Just my two cents worth!

I would really find it very helpful to be able to view prolapses of varing degrees. I am still having a hard time conceptualizing what I can't really see on me.

I also think that the pictures should be locked. Anyone who is willing to share deserves privacy and respect.

when I hold the cursor over the forum link the only thing that comes up is the disclaimer.

Try doing a hard refresh - control+R - and see if that helps. You can also get there by www.wholewomangallery.com. There's nothing there at the moment as we sort out what we want to do with it.

it seems when I access the site via aol the link doesn't show up. If I use my internet explorer I do see the link but my username/password doesn't work

We need to take the whole page down...there is no password yet. Why won't members weigh in on this???

I was really interested in seeing the photo gallery, but cannot view it. I type in my name and password and it gives me the message invalid name or password. I wonder what I am doing wrong? April

your original idea, to see other members photos, not of prolapse, but of their faces, family, pets, whatever else, so we can put faces to names.
